Chase’s POV.
It has been days. Days of her waking, freaking out, and being knocked out. Ranger found a hotel in town and we have been taking shifts. I have been speaking to Chance, and I had to tell him his mommy was in an accident. The noise that came out of my son will forever haunt me.
He asked if she was dead. It broke me to hear our son ask that. When I told him no, he sobbed in relief. He spoke to his pops and was happy until he remembered where his mommy was. He wants to see her but I don’t think he should see her the way she is right now. Maybe I’m wrong for doing that but I don’t want him to be any more upset than he already is right now.
