Chase’s POV.
I wake up on a bed with Ranger sitting in the chair to next to me. I look around and see a drip in my arm.
“What happened?” I ask, and Ranger looks at me and he looks dog-tired.
“You passed out when the doctor told us that Shannon is pregnant.” He says and I remember now. I sit up and swing my legs over the side of the bed and pull the IV out of my arm.
“Have you seen her yet?” I ask Ranger as I stand and stagger slightly but straighten myself.
“Yeah, I went to see her while you slept. She was asleep. The nurse told me it was normal after experiencing what Shannon had. She will wake up when she is ready. The more sleep she has, the more her body will heal.” Ranger says and I nod and leave the room. With Ranger behind me.
