Chapter 2

BLUE

I was looking at the peaceful scenery of the Queen's garden, it was peaceful. As peaceful as how I dreamt my life to be. After eating with them, I realized that I lost so much time to be with them. So much time has been wasted. My mother told me to address her as my mother, but at the moment, calling someone 'mother' is still out of my league as even up to this day, everything is unbelievable.

I don't know so much about them, even about my twin. Should I regret the things that happened? But what's the purpose of regretting when it can't bring back what already happened? In this world, regret has no point when things cannot be changed.

" Blue," I held my Baston tightly as I heard his voice calling me. I am bathing with my own sweats already.

"Aren't you taking this seriously?" he asked as he pulled my arm, making me look at him.

"I'm sorry," I muttered.

"Sorry?! You keep on making the same mistakes! How many times do I have to tell you that it is very important to hold your Baston tightly?!" he shouted and try pulling my Baston away from me. I held it as tight as I could. After minutes of us doing that, he suddenly calms down. I heard his deep sigh.

"You know that I am doing all of this because I don't want others to step on you, right?" he said, he is like this after every time he shouts at me. He always tells me that everything he does is for me, that he shouts at me for my own good. And he is my father, even if at times I think and feels he doesn't love me, but his words telling me that everything he does is for me always make me believe that he loves me, he loves his daughter.

I nod. I always do believe him. He is my father and I know that everything he does is for me.

"Hold your bastons tightly," he again said before he pick up his. And so I did, I hold it as tight as I could as if my life rely on it.

"What is it?" I was startled when I heard someone from my back. I immediately stood up and bowed my head a little. He chuckled a little before he motioned me to seat on where I was seating.

"What was it that you are thinking? You look lost with your thought," he said which made me bow my head a little. I cleared my throat before answering him.

"Nothing, your highness," I said— I almost couldn't recognize my voice. It was cold but with a deep longing.

"Hmmm. I know that you are still uncomfortable addressing me as your father, but I hope that when the time comes— you will and can call me your father." He said which made me look at him. His voice is calm yet I know it also longs for me. But it was too awkward on my part, actually, I used to hate him and blame everything on him.

But the same with what the hopes, I hope I can address him as my father too, Not that they didn't tell me that to call them mother and father, but I was really ashamed of what I'd done, I know it was all an act but, I couldn't bear myself that I grew up believing all those lies that were fed by my so fake father, I felt really guilty whenever I looked at them. It seems like I don't deserve to be called their daughter.

"How many times do you I have to tell you, Blue, you're my daughter and you should call me father," The King said and I felt warm in my chest, Alec never wanted me to call him father whenever we are alone, he just allowed me to call him "father" when we were in front of someone else.

"I- I just don't think, I deserve to be your daughter," Blue said which made the king look at her.

"Don't say that, you're my flesh and blood," The king said to her as he looked at her with love in his eyes.

She turn around to face her father when she saw her mother who was walking to their place.

"What are you two doing here?"The queen, her mother asked them as she reached them.

"I was just having a moment with our daughter, my queen," The king, her father said to her mother as he went to her and give her a peck on her cheeks.

Blue looked at her parents as they were looking at each other with so much love in their eyes, she was hoping to have that kind of love, but she thought she doesn't deserve to be loved, what she needs now is time for herself, time to forget her painful past.

"Why don't you join your siblings, Blue? Red was looking for you." Her mother said to her as she looked at her.

"I just want to breathe some fresh air," She answered politely.

"Don't you like the party sweetheart?" Her mother continued to ask her.

She doesn't know how to answer her mother since this is her first party and she didn't know what people usually do at this kind of celebration, but she doesn't want to break her mother's heart more.

She knew her parents' blamed themselves as they knew that she was alive, they blamed themselves because of their negligence, and she got separated from them, but it was understandable, they thought she was dead, and Alec took her, and place her with some other kid.

If there's someone to blame it would be Alec, but now that he is gone, he already suffered and paid for his sins, but for her, it wasn't enough, it wasn't enough for the time she suffered from her, the trauma he caused her and how he turned her into a bad vampire, thanks to the one who took care of her when she was young, or else she should be suffering a lot of guilts now.

BLUE

It was a bright day today, everyone was busy preparing for my brother's wedding. I can see everyone being busy and I am here standing, not knowing what to do since I don't know how a wedding really flows.

"Why aren't you dressed up yet?" I heard someone from behind. It was Red. I faced her and plastered a little smile on my face.

"Auh, do I have to?" I curiously asked.

"Hm, of course, the ceremony will start in no time." she calmly said and gestured for me to follow her, so, I did.

She entered her room but I stayed outside, I don't want to invade her privacy.

"No worries, I am hiding nothing so you can freely be here," she said with a smile before she pulls me and close her door slowly. I roam my eyes around her room, it was as spacious as mine, very organized and intimidating.

"You must dress up with a little effort since this will be our brother's wedding," she seriously said while she looks at me from head to toe. I just nod my head, I'm still uncomfortable with her, especially the way she looks at me now. She clicked her tongue before she went inside to where she put her clothes. She then went inside with a different kind of clothes in her hand.

"These clothes will surely look good on you," she said and put her clothes above her bed. I did not respond.

After a little while of Red dressing me up, we were finally done. And during that little time we spent together I realized that she doesn't often smile, she is serious most of the time.

"I think we should go now. Father and mother must've been looking for us." She said which and went out so again, I followed her.

"Where have you been, Red? We looked for you and Blue," from afar, I heard the queen saying those words.

"I apologize, mother. I just had to help Blue in dressing as Hellios wedding will be starting," she casually stated and bow her head a little. I saw how the Queen's eyebrow rises, she eventually look in my direction. Her stares are like daggers that are slowly stabbing my whole being, I felt my hand shake a little but it all fade away when the Queen smiled sweetly and went near me.

"Seems like you and your twin is getting along pretty well, huh," she whispered, still smiling. I proudly lift my head and make her feel that I am not scared nor uncomfortable with their presence, I want them to know that I am strong enough and I conquered everything by myself.

I almost jump when the king suddenly pops up out of nowhere and is now holding the queen's waist. I bow my head a little, and he smiled.

"What are the two of you doing here? We must go now, the wedding will start." He mumbled. The Queen then nods and looks at me.

"Shall we?" Red said to me as she offered her arms to me.

They went to the back of the castle since the wedding was going to be held there, she knew what will happen after her brother's wedding.

Her brother Helios was the Sun God, and her sister Red found it funny at first since it's not just their brother changed but also the spelling of his name.

She still can't believe it when they told her that there were four people who own her brother's soul, and now they get combined.

"You look gorgeous, Blue. We're really our twins," Red said as she welcomes her.

Blue just smiled at her as they entered the hall, there she saw lots of vampires, wolves, and some other kinds of a living creatures.

She has never felt so free before, and she never felt loved like what her real family was showing her now.

She roamed her eyes around the place when she felt like someone was staring at her, she turn her back and there she saw the man who is her mate.

There he was standing gorgeously, he was wearing a blue suit that was the same color as one of her eyes.

He was staring at her like she was the most beautiful living thing in the world.

Blue couldn't take how intense he was looking at her, she took her gaze out from him and turned her attention to her mother and father.

Her mother and father were there in front of the cathedral where the high priest was waiting for the bride.

She smiled when she saw how happy her brother is. He seems so in love and happy.

She flinch a little when she heard the sounds of trumpet, there was the bride who was making her entrance to the place.

The place was opened since they wanted to see the sun as it set.

She looks at the bride and she saw that she was glowing.

She was glowing in happiness.

Blue saw how in love the two couple with each other when Selenesee was now in front of her brother and her brother smiled at her.

She wanted to feel that kind of love that her brother and Selenesee has for each other.

But, how can she feel it when she was still scared to care for someone?

How can she love fully when her heart was still full of doubts to show her emotions.

After all, she was trained not to love and show any emotions by her so-called father.

She hates him for taking away her right to be loved and loved.

Her right to be with her family.

She was still thinking that she didn't notice that the ceremony was over not until when the high priest proclaimed the two were now husband and wife.

Somewhere...

Someone was watching everyone from the far side angrily.

They all looked happy and content with their life now.

Too bad that won't last.

They need to pay for what they did.

The person looked at the woman who has blue hair.

"You don't deserve to be happy,"

"You don't deserve what you have now," The person said still staring at the woman who has blue hair.

"I will take everything that you have,'" The person said as walked away from the place.
