Mending His Mate's Pain

Chapter 5

I've been up all day after I ate breakfast with my family. I decided to stay all day in my room. I just went down to eat some dinner.

I was thinking all night yesterday about my plans.

I wanted to seek a journey on my own, which I had never had since I was with Alec. I didn't have the right to enjoy and find what I wanted since I was with him.

Blue was now inside her bathroom as she took a bath, the palace women's attendant had already prepared everything for her including her bath, she was still not used to this life, and she was not used to being treated like a princess.

After she finished her bath, she went to the wardrobe and get some clothes, she didn't touch the clothes that were given to her as she found them uncomfortable for her, she can't move freely with those heavy clothes.

She was about to walk through the Ling hallway of the castle and was about to turn when she bumped into something...

Or,

She would rather say someone, she was about to curse who it was but when she looked up, she saw the man she was hiding.

Why is he still here? they were supposed to leave after a week after the wedding.

Blue frowned at her thought. Why the hell are they still here? Why the hell is he still here?

Don't tell me they didn't have something to do with their own kingdom.

As far as she knew, every kingdom helped each other to build those kingdoms that were destroyed by the war that happened between all kingdoms, versus the goddess who was Alec's ally.

"You're highness," He said as he greeted me, though his voice sounded cold to anyone who could hear, me, I sense something, I couldn't even name.

"Are you all right?" I was back to my senses when he tapped me on my shoulder.

Without blinking a bit, I caught his hands and twisted them.

I heard Nicholas groan in pain. He looks surprised as he didn't expect that to happen.

Wolves can not read someone's mind unless they were mates and already mated. That is when everything about them becomes one.

While we the vampires were gifted super strength and very fast.

But, us? the royalty of the vampire kingdom has a special ability, and we can also control the elements. Aside from that, we can also read someone's mind, I tried to read his mind once, and that is one of the reasons why I don't want to see him.

"What do you think you're doing? and for Selense's sake, what are you still doing in here?" I asked and let him hear the authority in my voice to make it clear to him that I have power over him.

I tried my best to give the coldest stare to him, but I was kinda distracted by his thoughts.

"Your family still offered us to stay here for another week," He said as he stood up and healed himself.

After he said those words, I left him there as I used my teleportation.

I saw my parents and my twin sister talking to each other, and her Xerias was also present.

She was hesitating whether she'll approach them as she could see it seem like they were having a discussion, and they did even put a barrier to avoid getting heard by anyone.

Blue decided to wait there to tell. her what she wants to do with her life, but she saw that man coming she teleports herself.to her room.

If there was one place she was safe from him was her room.

No one was allowed to enter her room aside from those women who were working in her chamber who were signed, and by way, she doesn't trust any man. They can be like Alec

Blue knew that vampires and wolves were both civil, but she didn't still fully trust anyone not, especially wolves.

After that incident and with her family being busy, Blue decided to stay with her.

And the wolves stay in their house. The reason why they were revealed is still unknown to her.

But what she noticed was that her twin was already in public while being sweet to Xerias. Is she crazy? how can she do that?

Allyca was bathing her mother in the river when she heard some voice calling.

Allyca...

Comeeee...

Take meeeee...

The voice was calling her, and Allyca followed it. It was like she was being hypnotized by something. Her brain was refusing to follow it and said she will be in danger if she did follow it, but she could not

control herself anymore.

Allyca went inside they were some left things that some people used during those bruises. She was still following the voice since it was getting louder and louder.

She was now in front of a throne, she couldn't believe what she was seeing, right?

"Allyca, come and pick me up here," The voice commanded her, and she was like confused, but when she saw a necklace that was lighting, Allyca went to take it.

The moment Allyca took it, a black. some engulf her and when she woke up.

She smiles maniacally..

Finally,

She finally got a body.

She tried waving her hands to see whether she still possessed those powers.

But to her horror,

No one gets out of her hand.

She tried and tried, again and again, and it was still the same.

Sona was devastated by the body she possessed, she thought Allyca was strong but she was wrong.

The body that she possessed is a waste.

It can not even have the simplest enchantment she used to do, which won't work with this body.

She sat on the ground and shout out of frustration, she was trapped there for a thousand years and now she got a body but it is very weak.

Sona didn't feel very disappointed and angry before, this is all Silviania's work.

She trapped her here, and now she was like this...

"I will make sure to get even with her" Sona assured herself that she will make her pay for what she did.

Blue was now secretly hiding from Nicholas. She doesn't want to get crossed with him again, nor see him again.

She saw her parents enter the library as she was following them secretly, Blue

thought that it was the right time that she should talk to them about her

plans. She heavily sighs before knocking three times and opening the door...

and that caught her parent's attention.

"Do

you need anything?" Queen Silviania, her mother asked while smiling. She

shows a timid smile before she slowly walks near her parents. When she got in

front of them, her father offered her a seat so she slowly seats before

answering her mother.

"As

much as I can, I will try to tell all the chaotic thoughts I have in my mind...

I don't want to keep anything from you two," she nonchalantly said.

"Growing up, it wasn't a secret that I grew up with Alec, all those years

that I am with him I was busy making myself better, even when I was little but

at that time I am making myself better to make him proud... not until I found

out the truth. Did I get mad? Yes and even seek revenge. My whole life revolves

around that kind of life, I never got the chance to explore it." She

explained, still with no emotions. She felt all the memories summing up in her

mind. She feels like she was back to that kind of situation but she was holding

back her feelings because she doesn't want her parents to know that she is still

affected by what Alec has done.

Her

Mother is looking at her, still in awe of their daughter's bravery...

That

morning, Blue woke up feeling a little heavy and awkward when she went down to

the dining hall and saw everybody waiting for her.

"Morning,

Blue", Her father, the king said to her as he went to pull her a chair.

She

smiled and thank her father, she then look at the others and greeted them.

"Morning,"

she awkwardly greeted them with a timid smile on her face.

"How

was your sleep, Blue?" her mother, who is the Queen asked her.

She

cleared her throat and answered...

"Feeling

much better," she answered honestly as that is what she feels at the

moment. She doesn't feel suffocated at all, unlike before.

Blue

was now on the balcony of her room, she was busy watching the birds flying in

the sky when she suddenly heard a schwing sound, I looked down only to see two

people who were doing some sword practice,

I

just don't get why they still have to practice when they were already skilled

enough. She was about to turn away when she saw a familiar figure.

It

was her twin sister Red, Red went to Xerias.

Xerias

was the former beta of the wolf kingdom and based on what she had heard, he was

the cousin of Simeone.

Simeone

is one of her brothers, well technically since he was a part of her brother,

Helios's soul, still she doesn't understand how it makes sense but, yeah it's

the truth.

She

went back to her senses when she saw her sister and Xerias walking away from

Nicholas, who was the one Xerias practicing with, she knew what was going on

between them, like her, her sister has also fated to me a mate of a wolf. but

unlike her, Red was not tainted, while, she was tainted by the blood of those

innocent vampires, and wolves, that Alec made her kill when he was training and

making her his weapon against her real parents.

I

saw Nicholas look up, so I turned away and close the glass door, and pulled the

curtain to cover it to avoid him.

She

can feel her chest pumping.. "this will not going to last long Blue,"

she said convincing herself as she will be able to finally explore the life she

has been wanting to explore. She was about to go somewhere when she remember a

something..

It was a bright day today, everyone was

busy preparing for my brother's wedding. I can see everyone being busy and I am

here standing, not knowing what to do since I don't know how a wedding really

flows.

"Why aren't you dressed up

yet?" I heard someone from behind. It was Red. I faced her and plastered a

little smile on my face.

"Auh, do I have to?" I

curiously asked.

"Hm, of course, the ceremony will

start in no time." she calmly said and gestured for me to follow her, so,

I did.

She entered her room but I stayed

outside, I don't want to invade her privacy.

"No worries, I am hiding nothing so

you can freely be here," she said with a smile before she pulls me and

close her door slowly. I roam my eyes around her room, it was as spacious as

mine, very organized and intimidating.

"You must dress up with a little

effort since this will be our brother's wedding," she seriously said while

she looks at me from head to toe. I just nod my head, I'm still uncomfortable

with her, especially the way she looks at me now. She clicked her tongue before

she went inside to where she put her clothes. She then went inside with a

different kind of clothes in her hand.

"These clothes will surely look good

on you," she said and put her clothes above her bed. I did not respond.

After a little while of Red dressing me

up, we were finally done. And during that little time, we spent together I

realized that she doesn't often smile, she is serious most of the time.

After

remembering those, I realized that Xerias made her who she is now. He was able

to soften her ice heart, I know often see her smile and I am genuinely happy

for her. And I know for sure I deserve happiness and contentment as much as she

deserves hers.

If only her eyes can, they already burned because of too much anger. Sona stood up and cursed all the curses she knows because of too many frustrations. She walked and when she reached the river she saw a woman, surely it was Allyca's mother as they both have a resemblance. She mischievously grin as she knew to herself that she will be able to use her as well..
