Emily’s POV
We learned through an informant of an upcoming battle between the Pures and the Seekers. We decided to send scouts out to the next known area of the battle. Edaline says we need to watch the battle to learn how our enemies fight and what ‘tricks they might have up their sleeves’. We even started practicing drills in the mountains incase of attack on Millerborg.
Hiroen is going to show me the tunnels today. Apparently there are miles and miles of tunnels under the mountain that we can use to escape during an attack or if we get trapped. It’s a little unsettling to think that this mountain could collapse on us..I guess it is really old. I make my way over to Hiroen after lunch.
“Hey Hiroen.”
“Hello Emily. Are you ready to go through some secret tunnels?”
