Elizabeth opened her eyes cautiously.
She felt physically terrible, and when she noticed the car was moving it gave her motion sickness that really didn’t help the situation.
She groaned when Tyler said something. She had no idea what it was and she didn’t think she could cope with conversation.
She tried to adjust herself in the seat, but it made her head swim and she blacked out again.
The next time she came round things were clearer.
She could open her eyes, and she turned to see if Tyler was alone or if Elle was with him.
She was strewn across the back seat,and it was clear she was in a bad way.
In the dim light of the morning Elizabeth could see that she had a wound that was dangerously close to the artery in her neck, and that it wasn’t the only one.
