The moment she slams that door, the loud thud makes my reality much harder than I expected. I turn the faucet, close the water and hop out, snatching the towel off the railing and I barely wrap it around my waist as I storm out of the bathroom, my feet sliding over the tiles. "Emily!" I call out to her as I storm into the room, finding her getting dressed. Water drips from her hair as she pulls on a pair of shorts and she slams the box shut after pulling out a shirt.
"Em," I growl out her name deeply, demanding her attention, but she ignores me and continues to march over to her suitcase, "Stop!" I bellow, and she halts in her steps, her shoulders rising as she tenses. "Do not ignore me when I am speaking to you," I seethe, and she turns on her heel, staring daggers at me,
