We lost a calf this morning. It’s never easy, and now I’m in a s**t mood. I’ll call Amelia later, and hearing her voice will help. She didn’t come out last night because she had to work early this morning, and I f*****g miss her.
I’ll never tell her, but I hate her job. There are so many times she leaves early or doesn’t come because she has to work. I know it’s important to her, but I’d rather she just let me pay for whatever she needs and stay here more often.
Christopher really got into my head by telling me I had his blessing. I’m going to marry the girl, but not until she’s out of school. Still, it wouldn’t hurt to look at rings. Maybe I’ll propose, and we can marry soon after she finishes school.
