"We're pushing our luck, don't you think?" Kain sighs with his eyes shut. "We'll leave in ten minutes." We've been lying on the couch for a while now. We haven't talked much; not that we feel the need to. We're just holding each other, our legs tangled, our faces barely inches apart.
