Alpha Allen’s POV
I’m so sick of paperwork. It’s never-ending. The only good thing that’s happened this week is that Candice left to go shopping in Anchorage with Jill. It takes at least one day to get there, as it's almost eight hundred miles away. They need a second day to shop, and a third day to return. I’m hoping they stay gone for at least two more days. I was glad to be rid of both of them. They were annoying, and I was tired of how draining it was to be around them.
If Candice hadn’t been wealthy, I would never have taken her as my chosen. Her father was a strong Alpha. I figured she would give me strong pups and help me build my pack up. I had big dreams, and most of them had been realized. I received some start-up funds from her, but I repaid her double the amount.
