For a split second, neither of us move or say a word.
I can’t believe I just said those words out loud and he probably didn’t too because he looks like he’s caught off guard. He just stares at me with those piercing green eyes and knots begin to twist in my stomach.
Then, suddenly and without warning, he strides over, grabs my face, and kisses me. Hard. So much so that I fall onto the bed behind me and he falls right on top of me.
My heart feels like it’s about to explode. His kiss is hot and demanding, and my body has no choice but to surrender. I can feel his lips twitching into a smirk as he kisses me, and that sends me over the edge. I let go of all my inhibitions and I kiss him back, hot and hungrily.
