(Axel’s POV)
The second I saw her, I froze.
Jessica.
Standing at the entrance of the fitting room, her face flushed crimson, her manicured hand trembling by her side. Her eyes were wild, lips twisted in disbelief. And then—
“AXEL!” she screeched.
I instinctively moved in front of Maya, shielding her. My pulse thudded, but not from guilt, but from fury. Maya clutched the edge of the fitting room curtain, her face pale, lips parted in shock.
Jessica took a step forward like she wanted to tear the world apart. “What the hell are you doing? With her? Are you kissing her?!”
