What Did We Do

"Daddy who are this men and where are they taking us to?" I asked in a croaky voice amidst tears

"I have no idea dear but don't worry we will be fine" Dad replied from the back and the men bursted into laughter

"What sort of daydreaming is that.

What even makes you think you will see the sunrise ever again? You better stop fooling yourself around and accept your fate Mr Edwards" The man driving said in a husky voice and bursted into a throaty laughter.

"My Daddy will get you all arrested and we will be free again just watch out" I said confidently

"Hey you little brat shut up before I order them to pulp you up like some piece of wood" The man thundered giving me a stern look

" Boss do you want us to deal with her? I think she needs to be taught a lesson" One of the men at the back said

" No not so fast Jack. It's not yet time when the time comes I'll let you know but for now let her be" The man driving blurted out and continued driving

"Let us go. I want to go home please I'm tired I'm begging you please" I said pleadingly pouting my lips

" Now shut your mouth up before I instruct them to deal with you. Are you crazy or something? " The man driving roared loudly clenching his fist tightly on the steering

" Boss I told you a long time ago to allow us teach her some dirty lessons so she will understand we aren't here for some silly jokes" One of the man who had earlier spoken from the backseat added obviously burning with rage

"No not so fast calm down Jack. I know what to do just watch out and see" The man driving said with a smirk then dipped his right hand into his trousers then motioned an object till it touched my bare skin

"Now how does this feel? cold right? I bet it will be colder when a bullet or two plunges deep into your body" The man said softly with the steel like object still touching my skin watching to see my reaction

" No no...please it won't... don't kill me. I'll just just keep quiet I promise please" I stuttered as I quaked with fear

"Now very good. I don't want to hear you say a word ever again or else if you do just consider yourself equally dead because I will make sure I stop at nothing to see a bullet deep your skull" The man added and I cringed in fear

" Please don't hurt her she is only but a little girl. She knows nothing about this" Dad said and before he could finish a loud sound followed and everyone sat quiet

"Now you will understand what it means to be told to keep shut and you will learn how to

just obey whenever you are told to do so" A voice said calmly and sighed

"Dad! Daddy? what have you done to my Dad?somebody please help me " I yelled when I didn't hear Dad's voice anymore

"I said keep quiet or I'll do same to you if you don't comply right away" A man said from behind and then I shut up

When approach the ending of the road, the men at the back began to speak in hush tones as the car began to slow down.

And even though I couldn't get to hear what they were actually saying, I knew for sure that they meant no good.

"Boss you can pull up here" One of the men said

"Aren't we driving in tonight?" The man driving asked

"Yes due to some reasons we can not drive in to the basement tonight" Another voice said

"Well I see" The man driving said and pulled up

" Now how do we take them down to the basement?" He asked

" Leave that to us Boss. Just watch and see us carry out the plans" The men chorused

" Ok no mistakes please I will leave everything to you guys then" The man said and heaved a sigh

"Hey get down" one of man commanded and walked over to my side and dragged me out of the car before blindfolding me

"Take that stupid man out and blindfold him as well" He commanded referring to my Dad

" Ok boss" The man cooed and did as they were instructed

"We are set Boss" The man still holding me tightly by wrist said

"If you are sure then you all can go ahead I'll be right there with you guys" The man who drove us here said still sitting in the car

"Ok. Take him in first let me trudge from behind with his daughter" The man standing close to me said and they led Dad away while he stood and waited for them to go walk up to a distance before dragging me towards their direction.

"Tie her this way" The man commanded and I was dragged and made to seat on metallic chair and then bounded on both legs and hands to the chair.

"Let us go please. We haven't done anything to you. Let us go" I kept wriggling on my seat uneasily and yelling

"Shut up and be calm before I rip you apart" A voice roared loudly walking towards my direction

But I wouldn't stop as I kept yelling and pleading to be set free

"Ignore her and tie up her Dad too" The man whom seemed to be their boss commanded

"Do not hurt my daddy! Let us go we haven't done anything to deserve this cruel thing you all are doing" I screamed shaking violently on my seat

" You better keep calm and reserve the energy left in you for something else especially what will be happening tomorrow" Another voice said and started laughing hysterically

What does he mean by that? Are we going to be killed by tomorrow or what?

I told as I continued to sob till I black out
