After I tried a few more times and she didn’t respond, I turned around and stared at Landon for a long second, studying his face closely to see any sign of dishonesty.
But his expression was serious.
“What kiss, Landon? Did you kiss Abby?” I asked with a shaky breath, bracing myself for the answer.
Landon didn’t hesitate, he nodded. “Yes, she kissed me.”
I blinked.
“She kissed you?” I asked as though I hadn’t heard correctly. Abby had said earlier that she didn’t even talk to my brother at the office.
Why was Landon bluffing?
“You heard me right the first time.”
