Episode 11

"If you dare to tell anyone about this, I'll kill your father, then your horses, and when there is only you left I'll lock you up and use you as my slave. Don't forget that I'm an adult and more clever than you. To make people believe you just want to frame me will be nothing for me. Understand?"

I cried, but nodded.

"I couldn't hear you."

He shouted at me.

"Yes."

I shouted back.

"This beast has accepted you, so you're going to come every day. If you don't, I'll find you, and you don't want that. Is that clear?"

I nodded, but he shook me again.

"Yes."

I shouted, then he let my neck go and left the stable. I don't know how long I sat there. I pulled myself to Eclipse's place. I only realized that he had nearly gone mad when it happened. I pulled myself up, hugged him and cried harder. It was already dark outside when I heard my phone vibrating. It was Kaiden. I couldn't talk to him at that moment. I wasn't even sure if I could talk to him anymore.

How could I tell him this? How could he accept I had another one? I didn't know what to do. I just ignored his call. He called me about 20 times. It was painful, but I just couldn't talk to him. He texted me if there was something wrong, he texted me he was worried. I couldn't really see through my tears, but I texted him back that I just can't talk right now and everything is fine. He didn't give up.

"Serena, just pick it up for a second. I want to hear your voice. x"

"Kaiden, I cannot talk right now, but I'm fine. Just call me tomorrow. x"

I nearly believed that he had given up, but I've got another message.

"Are you not alone?"

That question made me feel worse. I just held my phone and I cried, pushing my forehead into Eclipse's neck.

"Serena, answer me."

"Serena, answer me now, don't do this to me. I want to know who you are with."

"I'm going to kill that bastard."

"Serena, we can talk that through, just answer the phone."

I didn't answer him. There was no point. Our relationship was over. I couldn't look into his eyes anymore, and I'm sure he wouldn't want me anymore. He is far away from here, he has a new life. It would happen anyway. I dressed and I left the stable. I sat on Ivy and rode home. I met my father and he looked at me worried.

"Serena, are you alright? What happened to you?"

"It's nothing, dad. I have just been to see Eclipse, and I just got emotional, that's all."

"I'm really worried about you."

"No need dad, I'll get through this."

Then I went to my room. I just wanted to be alone. But the worst just came after.

I decided to go every day, as someone needed to take care of Eclipse and he made it clear if I didn't go there would be consequences. Eclipse is the only one left for me from Kaiden. But it doesn't matter how I tried to disappear without his attention, I couldn't. So he's done the same with me everyday. Kaiden tried to call me many times, but I couldn't talk to him, actually I didn't want to talk to him. I just wanted to die. Finally, to stop Kaiden, I just texted him.

"Don't call me again, Kaiden. It's over."

My heart was in pieces already, but when I sent this message to him I felt like I was dead.

My dad was frightened about my emotional change, he thought that that was all because of Kaiden, and sometimes he tried to talk to me about that. He said just because we parted I shouldn't do this to myself. Hamish made sure every day I was not going to say a word about his “game”.

He went even further. He tied me up in different positions, and raped me every day. If he was in that mood, he used a whip on me. He said I deserve that. As Kaiden said, he will use it on him if he dares to touch Eclipse with it, so he will use it on me instead.

He was a sadist. He felt s****l arousal by hitting and torturing me, and often suffocated me while he had s*x with me. I had several injuries on my body, of course, only on those places where I could cover them. He tortured me physically and mentally. Once he even cut a “H” letter on the outside of my upper thigh with his knife.

The wounds on my back and on my thigh remained visible when they were healed. He said that is to mark me I'm his. He said that this all happened because I'm dirty and worthless, so he's here to get me cleaned inside and out. And he punished me because I never let him succeed with that.

It went like this for about a month. Last time after he raped me, he forced me to satisfy him with my mouth as well, and he went in there. It was the most disgusting thing in my life. I threw up several times, which he didn't like at all, so in the end he kicked my stomach a few times, while I was on my knees, as a punishment. He said he wants me to throw up everything, so next time it won't happen. I felt like I couldn't take it anymore, so when he left me there on the ground naked, I held my clothes and dressed up.

Eclipse was mad as usual, but I didn't care. I put his saddle on him and sat on his back. He didn't refuse, but he was eager to go out. He started running out of the stable and I drove him to Ivy. I quickly grabbed her reins and ran away with them. Hamish tried to run after us and shouted to the others to go and catch me as I scrounged Eclipse from the Caldwells. But I didn't care. I thought that if I stopped I'd be lost.
