THE STONE-GOLEM AND THE BOY

Grendale's eyes widened in shock at the scene in front of his eyes. The big creature was advancing dangerously towards the poor guy with clenched fist. If he didn't do something it would smash the boy into juice. Grendale concentrated on his powers and summoned the magic bolt. Just when the creature had risen it's fist Grendale yelled at it, " Eat this you stupid bundle of rocks" and threw the bolt at it which clearly hit it squarely in the back. The creature stopped going towards the boy and turned around seeking the source which dare throw something at it.
Spotting Grendale standing there with fury and fear in his eyes, it (being a giant that it was) slowly turned towards him. Grendale was thinking that this one also will roar or growl like all the other creatures and beasts but he was astonished when it clearly spoke out to him. " So. Looks like today is my lucky day. After complete 13 years of waiting I can finally have something decent to eat rather than cave bats and rocks. Gross.. they don't even taste good. Not one but 2 humans my my.. I can't wait to feel you in my mouth. "
"Oh yeah. You think we will simply just hand over ourselves to you. Not without a nice fight, no sir." retorted Grendale."If you really want to eat that bad then eat my fist and taste my blades." He jumped down the platform and ran towards him. The golem just stood there watching him come nearer and when he was near enough he simply blew a rain of pebbles at him. Grendale blew off backwards and went sliding across the floor. The golem then raised an eyebrow at him in a is-that-all-you-can-show way. Pissed off at being treated like a leaf Grendale roared at him.
Just at that moment the mystery boy peeked at him behind the golem and pointed at its hands. Grendale followed his direction and Observed that the golem had extraordinarily big hands. Probably if he can somehow use the weight of it's hands against it then he could defeat the golem. This time Grendale exercised caution and carefully planning his moves taunted the golem, " If you think you are so strong then show me what you have got. You can't simply expect us to give ourselves to some worthless piece of rock." The taunt had done it's job. The golem's eyes blazed red at being taunted worthless. " Worthless" it screamed, " You think I am worthless?. Ho, you made a huge mistake on doing that. Now you will pay for it and be the first one that I'll eat."
Just as planned the golem came running towards him but in time Grendale jumped upon to its hands and ran up to its neck and clinged to its back. The golem couldn't reach him and hence to shake him off it started spinning wildly. Right on cue when the momentum was prefect Grendale let go of it and grabbed the nearest stone column. Thinking he was still on him the golem kept increasing its speed until finally his head spun and he fell down dizzy as hell. Right then Grendale jumped down upon its chest and pinpointed his sword at its eyes firmly confirming his victory.
Oooooooo Yay. The stone golem was defeated but now what?.. How will they escape from the whatever cave they are stuck in?
