The drive to his house was a silent one, everyone lost in their own thoughts and i had a lot thoughts running in my mind. Everything was just turning out to be what i hadn't expected, Pedro had just asked me to his girlfriend and i already said yes. I didn't know how students at school wee going to react, i think they were going to make fun i don't know. What about my parents? Will dad be okay with it? Or will he say that I'm up to something

"Nothing much,I'm okay" i replied trying to be composed as possible

"Are you worried about what the students at school will say?"

"How did you know that" i asked a little bit surprised

"Hmm..i just figured out i don't know are you?" He asked and i just nodded in response. "Well you shouldn't be because i will be with you the whole damn time plus no one messes with my girlfriend and goes unscathed" he said and i found myself smiling

"Thanks...i appreciate"

"You don't have to, I'll do anything for you, like i have always been doing,nothing us going to change" he said and parked the car just beside another pink convertible, it looked new to me and i kept asking myself a lot of questions but those questions were later answered

"Hmm...this car looks new,when did you buy it or is it your parents'?" I asked innocently and he just smiled

"Well i think i just spoilt my surprise for you, it was supposed to be a surprise" he said while face palming himself and the it hit me hard that the car was supposed to be my surprise gift

"What do you mean by I've spoilt the surprise?" I asked oblivious of the answer

"Well I'm sorry i didn't bring it out quite well,i bought this car for you,for your birthday" he said while looking straight in my eyes and i was just taken aback,we had been friends for a year or so and the guy was already gifting me a car for my birthday! I know it sounds ridiculous but then this is the world we live in,we don't get things we expect from the people we trust but we instead get surprised by people we thought will never give a f**k about us, that was Pedro for me, i didn't know what to say.

"What! I asked surprised

"Yes please don't say no, it's the only thing I could afford i hope you won't mind"

"What do you mean by i won't mind, Pedro this is incredible, I've never been gifted a car in my whole damn life and here you are, you she gifted me a car, a damn car! I'm surprised and confused at the same time, it's my first time to ever get such a gift,oh my God I'm so happy right now i don't know!" I half shorted as i hugged him tight, i was on his laps kissing him all over, i don't know if I was being insane but you can call it any name, my heart was running first and i was running out of ideas, what was i even going to tell him? I can't gift him such an expensive car on his birthday and there i was celebrating my first new car

"It's for you Danny, i love you and don't think otherwise about it, it's from the bottom of my heart and don't make any intentions of returning it, consider it as my first gift to you, now you won't have to struggle going to school or waiting up for me to pick you up, you will go by yourself and you can go for shopping with it and Talia, I'm sure they will be happy" he said while smiling andi just couldn't hold back myself anymore. I found myself crashing my lips on his and he didn't disappointed me, he loses me back and let me tell you, i didn't expect my first kiss to come out so good, i had heard a lot of stories from girls who always said their first kiss was always gross but Pedro was a good kisser.

"Hmm... Sorry about that i was just overwhelmed" i said and i disentangled myself from his arms quite embarrassed.

"You should not be embarrassed Danny, we now dating and despite, i have been wanting to kiss you for the longest time now, thanks for initiating it, your lips taste sweet like fine wine" he said and i found myself smiling and blushing Scarlet

"Thanks for the gift, i really appreciate" i said genuinely and he just nodded. We continued to chat for a while before he suggested we go for a drive test with my car just outside their compound. It didn't sound like a bad idea to me so i said yes and we both head for the car. He handed me the car keys and we walked out of his car

I opened the door to my car and i was amazed by the look, it had comfy seats from the inside, a system. I didn't know how to drive that well, Pedro had taught me how to drive for about four weeks and I wasn't quite well with it so i suggested he drive us around which he was more than willing to by the way.

We drove out of the compound at a moderate speed, the car was cool, he put our favorite playlist and i kept singing along to each and every song that came through the system.

We hadn't gone far when he abruptly stopped driving and parked the car just beside the road

" Why did you stop?" I asked and he was just staring at my thighs. I immediately looked at them and my dress was slightly raised so my thighs were visible. "Hmm...worth about that" i said embarrassed and he was just looking at me without bating his eyes. I had to look outside the window to avoid eye contact with him because the air inside was getting intense

"I'm sorry Danny" he says while looking at me and i got confused by the turn of events

"Sorry for what?" I asked confused

"For this" he said and crashed his lips on mine, i was confused that i didn't know what do but he grabbed my ass and made me sit on his laps so i was straddling him. "Okay i hope so, i have never spent the night at someone's place" is said sounding nervous

"You just didn't spend with someone, you spent it with me, your boyfriend and I'm going to talk to your dad so you should be stressed about or worried about it" he said reassuringly in that i found myself smiling.

He helped me put my dress back on and he also put on his clothes, just then the car window was knocked,i stared at him blankly not knowing what to do next
