“What the f**k is he doing here?” I asked out aloud and everyone turned their attention to the door, there stood Ely’s mom and Uncle Steve, talking of the devil

“Danny, did you just see that? I mean this guy has been on our neck for the longest time now, what is he doing her? Dear uncle, are you to threaten us or kill us as well?” Talia asked and we all gave him a questioning look, Ely’s mom was still confused, she was looking at us like we had just come from another planet. Ely was just there giving them a weird look

“Mom what is this killer doing here? He has killed Danny’s family and now he is her to finish what he started? Are you aware he is a walking killer?”

“Ely, don’t you disrespect me like that, I came here to pick you up and to pass my condolences to your best friend Danny, what the hell are you even talking about?” she asked still confused, just then Mrs. Montero walked downstairs and was shocked to see my step uncle standing with Ely’s mom at the door

“What is he doing here? And Ely why don’t you let your mom in?” she asked trying to divert the attention back to her mom

“I would have let her in if she wasn’t tagging this serial killer with her” Ely replied as she sneered at her mom, it was disrespectful but I couldn’t wait to know what my wicked uncle was doing, standing at the door

“No Ely, that is being disrespectful, let her in and let her explain to us what she is doing with this man here, we have been looking for him, for a while now, we all have questions and we all need answers” Mrs. Montero said and we all agreed with her

“And who are you if I may ask?” Ely’s mom asked and Mrs. Montero just smiled

“I am the owner of the house, so welcome in, we need to talk” she said and Ely’s mom was left with no option but to come, my step uncle walked I after her and all the time I was giving a glare

“Well feel at home, I am Mrs. Montero and I know you are Ely’s mom so please feel at home we have a lot to talk about, now if you will excuse me, I will be back in a few minutes” she said and excused herself as she went upstairs, I think to her room or upstairs to the study

“so mom did this guy tell you he tried to kill me, he threatened me just because I went over to Danny’s place to look for her and here he is playing games with your mind, mom if I may ask, what is he doing here, or is he one of your many guys, you are trying to introduce me to?” Ely asked and my mouth hang, was she seriously talking to her mother like that? I mean it was her mom and not just any other woman, despite, she was to respect her, I understand that the two didn’t get along well, but I didn’t know it was that serious

“Hey Ely, I’m still your mom remember? I need that respect and yes this is Steve, the guy I was telling you about, I wanted to introduce him to you but this wasn’t planned, and I’m even surprised that you two know each other, my question is, is what you are saying true?” her mom asked in a serious tone, think she was surprised too

“I’m sorry for that mom, but I am so disappointed in you, you could have thought about your decision first, this guy here is Danny’s step uncle and yes he threatened me the day I went to check on Danny, he is not a good person, he killed her parents, her grandmother and recently hr only cousin, I think he is here for a reason too, to finish of what he had started, you should take caution” Ely said and her mom’s mouth hang open in utter surprise

“Ely, is what you are saying true? Those are serious allegations to utter with no evidence” he mom said

“You should be asking him that, why is he staying in Danny’s house? He wants the documents so he can own everything his stepbrother owned , and after that he can finally get done with what he had already started, killing these two young orphans and owning everything, mom I don’t like this man” Ely said and walked upstairs but met her dad on the stairs

“Tashmin, I won’t let your daughter disrespect me in front of all these people, you know what? I am out of here” he said and made to stand up but Ely’s mom was quick to stop him

“No don’t go yet, are the allegations made true? Are you their uncle?” she asked her hands akimbo and my step uncle just looked at her, he had no words to say. “You see my daughter never lies, now get out, I want you to go back to my house, pack your things and leave, I don’t want you anywhere near my house, my family, my daughter and these two innocent girls” she half shouted at him and he cowered back in fear but was quick to cover it up with a smirk on his face, he stood up but I was quick too quick to give him his peace of mind

“Oh and dear uncle, I know you are behind the death of my parents, grandma and my cousin Kenadi but I want you to know one thing for sure, you will only own that house and those cars just because we haven’t decided to put your ass in jail, I am going to make sure you get nothing from my father’s property, I know you think he left me any documents, and that is where you go wrong, you have been sending your men to kill me, trust me you will get nothing you greedy bastard, my dad worked hard to reach where he was, but your greedy nature couldn’t just allow you to look for your own wealth, you went ahead and set a bomb on their car, so they could burn and ever to come back and that is where you go wrong too, you will get nothing, just like you were nothing without him, you will be nothing for the rest of your life, and just so you know, we might be too young to fight you but we are more brave than your two heads combined, we will hunt you down and we will make sure you pay for what you did, and by the way, I think you now know where Talia and I stay, it is going to make your work a little bit more easier but don’t make any stupid move, ooh, and uncle? I wish you all the best” I said and resumed my seat

My uncle was surprised, I think he never expected that from me, I mean he knew we were too young to challenge him but he was in for a big surprise of his life

“What is this man doing in my house? Honey, isn’t he the one we were looking for?” Mr. Davidson said and all the attention was turned back to where he was, on the staircase

“What the hell? Davidson what are you doing here?” Ely’s mom asked surprised, she was surprised to see her baby daddy in the house

“Tashmin, what a surprise!” he said as he walked into the living room. After he had taken his seat, he motioned the rest of us to sit down and we just sat down waiting for the next step. “And you, don’t think we won’t get to you, the law will do its work, just walk scot free for now but don’t you dare try to harm these two innocent girls because I will personally hunt you down and kill, I will chop those body parts and send them to you wife at home, now will you get out of my house or I get people to get you out?” he said to uncle Steve, who had no option but to walk out looking defeated

“Now that he is gone, will any of you mind to tell me what is going on? What is happing here, was it a trap or just a mere coincidence?” Ely’s mom asked her attention back to Davidson
