W e were seated in the living room, all of us waiting for Mr. Davidson to talk, Tashmin, Ely’s mom was fuming with anger, she thought it was a trap, but the truth of the matter is that, the past needed to be solved so the present could run on smoothly

“So Davidson, what happened, how comes you are here with my daughter?”

“Point of correction mom, I came here on my own to visit Danny and by good or bad luck, I met my dad, the one you have been hiding from me, for a while now, why didn’t you want me to meet my father , my own father mom! What is wrong with you?” Ely half shouts at her but her dad is quick to shush her

“Hey, hey Ely don’t shout at your mom, she is still your mother despite the fact that she denied you the chance to b with me, she had her own reasons but despite all, she is your mother, give her the respect that she deserves, she is still your mother” her dad said and Ely just nodded

“So I think she already grew some wings with just one day, I will ask again, what I’m I doing here again if I may ask?”

“Well I think we all have things to do so I will just have to start about what brought us here, first and foremost I would like to apologize to you Ely, my daughter for not being there for you, for not being present in your life and for not taking care of you when I was alive all this while, to Tashmin, I just want to say I’m sorry, I have not given you the support you need in taking care of our daughter but I would like to take it from here, I want to be there for her, to be present in her life, I want to take care of her, to take it from here, I called you here to ask for permission from you personally, Ely will make her own decision but first I wanted to get the permission from you, please Tashmin allow m take care of my daughter” he said and we all turned our attention back to her, waiting for her response

“Firstly, I am mad at you, pretty mad at you, and first you lied to me you didn’t have a wife, and you are, lying to my face again that you will take café of Elena, how can I trust you again with my daughter’s life, safety?” she asked her hands akimbo

“I already apologized for that Tashmin, I just want to be there for my daughter, I want to be in her life, just give me the chance to prove myself” he said with pleading eyes

“He already did and I already forgave him, the only thing he needs is his daughter beside him, please allow him”

“Okay that is okay, and I’m sorry for making your husband cheat, but I’m not sorry for bringing this pretty soul on this earth, I love my daughter so much and taking her away from me is like taking away my happiness, Elena has been with me, she has been my company and my only daughter, denying her the chance to be with her dad wasn’t to my liking, I wanted the best for her, just like any mother would want the best for their children, I love her but I have never liked the idea f denying her the chance of being with her dad, my parents were one hell of parents and never wanted me to get associated with you, but it is high time I just let things to flow on their own, I won’t hold on you anymore Elena I want you to make your own decisions, this is your father’s house, you free bound to choose whom you want to stay with, you will soon be turning eighteen, I won’t be making any decisions for you, I love you Ely and I know your dad loves you as well, all the best in your career life and your life choices, all the best in your modeling career, I will from now henceforth support you no matter what, David I know you will take good care of her for me and Mrs. Montero please take good care of her as if she was your own, I know you will so Elena I want you to choose where you are comfortable with” she said and we all gave her a questioning glance I mean that was so unheard of her, she had really changed

“Wow mom, that is so good of you, I’m so glad you finally accepted my passion, I have stayed with you and you have been nothing but the best mom I have ever had, you have shown me love just like any other parent could and I have enjoyed every minute with you every moment counts, I love you mom, very much but I would also like to stay with my father, I want to b with him, with my brother Pedro whom we’ve been best friends for the longest time now, I never knew he would turn out to be my own brother, and Danny here is my best friend, despite we will all be staying under one roof, so no need to worry, w go the same school, the same class, so that makes our work a bit more easier for us” Ely said and I was smiling internally, the house was going to be more fun

“Thank you all, I am glad we all come to the same decision, I will take good care of her, Elena I’m glad you are making that decision, you won’t regret it” he said and Ely just smiled

“Well I think that now that we are on the same page, I should leave I have a lot to attend to, I will have your clothes brought to you by my chauffer, I want you to behave and be a good girl that you have always bee, I love you baby” she said and hugged, I couldn’t believe that we were going to stay with Ely, my best friend, my boyfriend ad my sister under the same roof, one big family

“Wait, why don’t you join us for lunch before you leave?” Mrs. Montero said

“Huh okay, I would not mind, thank you I was famishing and the way I hate cooking by the way’ she said and we all laughed

Later after everything had calmed down, Ely’s mom had gone and we were in our room, helping her pack her numerous clothes in her closet

“You know I can’t believe you are here with us and are going to stay in the same house” Ely says and when it hits my mind, I’m more than happy

“The way things are, I can’t believe that this can happen, I mean I never knew it would happen like this, man, I’m so happy” I said and she slapped me slightly on my back

“Can you guys just shut the hell up and listen to me” Talia said catching our attention and we both turned to her, she was always an attention seeker

“What is it Talia, tell us, what is it that you want to tell us or are you just jealous that your friends didn’t come to see you or is it just that you don’t have anything to share with us?” I asked in a mockery tone and she slapped me hard across my face. “Ouch what was that for?” I asked and she gave me another slap

“That was for making me look like a fool, I’m leaving you two here so that you could gossip the whole day, let me play games with Pedro, he is better off than you two bitches put together” she said and sneered as she went outside

“Okay as you say your majesty” I replied and we all laughed with Ely

We spent the rest of the night making stories and arranging her shoes, she helped me with assignment, we were supposed to go to school the following day, I was pretty anxious, I was going to school as Pedro’s girlfriend and all the trauma going on, I didn’t know how to go about it, but I was sure I was going to manage

As I slept that day, I had nothing in mind but satisfaction, I knew I was going to make and I was sure, we were going to get what we had always wanted, justice for my family and getting my father’s property back
