Lucifer had not seen many of his angel brothers and sisters in millenniums. Usually, it was Gabriel who he'd see most often, only because the archangel was the one who made God's messages understandable to all angels, and so he too delivered messages from their Father to Lucifer—rare as that occurrence was after Lucifer's Fall.
