Haisley tossed and turned all night, nervous for what Christmas morning would bring. This was the first year Finn would be home in a long time, not just since the accident. She wasn’t expecting anything bad to happen per se, but she was still nervous about how things would go.  Haisley sat up and looked out the c***k in her curtains. There was a beautiful blanket of snow coating everything outside and reflecting the budding rays of the sunrise. It looked quiet and peaceful. Haisley grabbed a sweatshirt and headed downstairs.
