The Twin's Wedding

Ariana's P O V :

I was more than happy today. Finally, after five years, I was going to see my brothers. Even though father was still a little angry about the fact that I taught that brat of an Alpha Scorpion a lesson, he still agreed to let me come with him. Right now I was only about five minutes away from our Virginia pack house. I honestly expected that I would see Brother Allen or Brother Alvin but they were busy and couldn't attend the wedding. But I knew the real reason. They were just tired of not finding their mate and now that even Brother Derek and Brother Erik were getting married, they felt like they were left behind. Nonetheless, I did hope they would also find their mate soon. I knew our creator, the Moon Goddess, wasn't so cruel that she would deny her own children the greatest happiness of a lupine life.

" What are you thinking " dad asked, and I came out from my own thoughts.

" Nothing Dad " I said, smiling.

" It's okay. I understand. Don't worry, you will do your best in the competition " Dad said, assuring me, and I smiled. We both arrived in Virginia and right on cue Uncle Ronin was the first one to welcome us. I literally ran towards my uncle and he caught me as he used to do when I was a child.

" So I heard about that arrogant Scorpion " uncle Ronin said, and I smirked.

" Trust me uncle, he deserved it " I said and he laughed. A few seconds later, Aunt Lisa came and showed me my room. The wedding was in two hours and I thought of taking a nap for about half an hour. After the nap, I showered and put on a pretty floral dress. I only saw Arhaan in the photos, but even then he looked quite handsome. After making sure I was properly dressed, I put on sandals and went to the venue. Everyone was already present and all looked so elegant and royal. Brother Derek looked like a model in his white tuxedo, while the black tuxedo gave Brother Erik a killer look. Soon, Arhaan entered wearing a black tuxedo with white strips all over it, accompanied by the gamma female. I watched as the high priestess performed their rituals and ceremony. Arhaan looked so determined and elegant. Even though he was human but still the way he vowed to protect the pack, the sincerity and the determination in his voice made me question my own. I always had this insecurity about not being strong enough or I could not become a worthy Alpha to my pack.

Everyone cheered as the ceremony ended and started to drink. The drink must have been dosed with a little wolfsbane, as wolves don't get drunk so easily. I saw Brother Derek coming towards me along with Arhaan.

" Babe, this is my cousin the one I was talking about that day " Brother Derek said, introducing me to his mate and now the Luna of the pack. I felt Arhaan's eyes lingering on my face.

" Hii. . Ariana Black Moon " I introduced myself.

" Hii.. it was finally nice to meet you. I heard so many things about you " Arhaan said smilingly.

" All good things, I hope " I said with a grin.

" So when will you turn Eighteen then " Arhaan asked.

" In a Month. To be honest, I am kind of excited and nervous at the same time " I said. It wasn't a lie. I was really excited and nervous.

" I understand . Trust me, you will be fine. I still remember when I first shifted , it hurt like hell since I was born as a human and then l was turned, but after that it was pretty good " Arhaan said, giving me hope.

" You are so nice, Luna Arhaan. These two idiots don't deserve you " I said, sticking my tongue out at Brother Derek, which made all of them laugh. The celebration went all night and everyone was enjoying themselves. I smirked when I saw my cousins sneaking out of their own wedding party with their mate. After a long night of drinking and dancing, I felt asleep like a log. The next morning was much better. I had my special breakfast made by Aunt Lisa. Since none of our other cousins came and the twins were on their honeymoon, I was the center of attention of everyone. I trained with my uncles and learnt a few great moves. For example, my eldest uncle, Orion, taught me how to strike my opponent by just using my fingers. I was amazed when he knocked out a warrior just by using his fingers. I was impressed by that and tried my best to learn it. Uncle Ronin and Uncle Jeremy taught me some moves for self-defence and I was mesmerized by those moves. My other uncles helped me with my studies as they told me so many ancient facts. These things would definitely help me in the written part of my competition. After spending three days in Virginia, I came back home as the competition would start next week. I trained harder than before, honing my new skills and moves. I had this desire to prove to my people that, like my father, I would also be a great Alpha and take care of them.

Author's P O V :

Both Alpha Benjamin and Luna April were watching Ariana train and both of them were proud to see how their little princess had grown up.

" Do you think we should tell her the truth now " Luna April asked her mate.

" No, let's wait after the competition is finished. Telling her now could disrupt her concentration and determination. Once the competition is over, no matter who will be the winner, we will tell her everything she needs to know " Alpha Benjamin said, and continued watching their daughter.
