Chapter 3 : Badass Ariana

Ariana's P O V :

" Ri, are you coming to the party later " asked my friend Cami as we were both returning from school.

" Which party ? " I asked her, as I didn't remember someone from our pack was throwing a party.

" Alpha Scorpion is throwing a party to celebrate his sixteenth birthday. I heard everyone is going there. We should go too ", Cami said, giving me puppy dog eyes. I knew she had a huge crush on this Scorpion guy even though he was a jerk and a total player. He started sleeping around when he turned fourteen and till now he must have had a dozen sexually transmitted diseases.

" Cami, you know that guy isn't ideal for you " I said to her.

" Please, I just want to see him and I promise we will leave early " she said, giving me another puppy dog eye.

" Okay, okay, we will go " I said to her and she squealed loudly in happiness.

Even though I promised Cami, getting permission from my father and mother would surely be a difficult task. Till now, I still wasn't allowed to go outside without my guards. After long hours of tantrums, they finally agreed to let me go to school alone on my own. Right now, I was watching both my mother and father closely as they were thinking very hard whether to let me go or not.

" So can I go or not " I asked, my voice a bit softer than usual.

" Yes, you can go but you have to come back before ten " Dad said, and I nodded my head excitedly. I hugged my parents and my father ruffled my hair. Even though I am seventeen now, for my father, I was still his little princess. I put on a simple deep red dress and matched with my white snickers. As promised, both Cami and I met up at six and headed towards the party. Cami was her usual self, hyperactive and chirpy, while I, on the other hand, was keeping an eye on the neighboring Alphas. Even though it's the twentieth century now, some wolves still look down on female Alphas. I was simply here to assess all the alphas and who might be a danger for me when we would face each other in the competition. Each year, the neighboring packs organize a friendly competition so that young wolves can fight and boost their confidence before they shift. Last year my father refused me from joining the competition saying I was not ready for it, but this year I was more than ready. I trained myself harder and pushed my limits and boundaries to a great extent. As the music played, some wolves started to dance. Cami handed me a glass of punch and I started drinking it. All these hormonal wolves making out with each other, wet in their saliva and sweat totally grossed me out. I went outside for some fresh air of relief. As I walked farther from the party house I heard some sickening laughs of boys.

" Come on, just give in. You know me, I can make you see stars " a voice said proudly.

" Not just him, though I am also known for my skills. We both can make you feel like you are in heaven " another voice said.

That's it. My blood boiled as I heard their voices saying nothing but disgusting things. I made my way towards them and saw it was none other than the birthday boy himself, the so-called future Alpha Scorpion and one of his minions.

" Hey leave her alone " I said to both of them. As they both heard me, they turned their heads and looked at me.

" And why should we do that, " Scorpion asked with a smirk.

" You know you can let her go if you take her place " his minions said, and both of them laughed. My blood started to boil as I heard them.

" Two for one, that's not fair " I said, smirking as I slowly walked towards them.

" That's okay if you don't think you can handle both of us at once, we will take turns, right bro " Scorpion said, laughing.

" Though we will both just go at once for fun " his minions said, laughing louder.

" But I don't think that would be wise " I said, and right on cue landed a punch on his stomach. I held the girl who was human and told her to go. Scorpion was still groaning in pain.

" You b***h ", his minion said, and was about to attack me, but I held his hand and, using both my hands, flipped him, knocking him on the ground. The minion growled in pain and Scorpion looked at me. His eyes were filled with anger and rage.

" You b***h, I don't care who the f**k you are, but you are going to pay for this " he said and charged towards me.

" We will see about that " I said and smirked, allowing him to make his first move. I learned the very hard way that defence was actually more beneficial than attacking first. I dodged his every move, his every attack and each time he got more frustrated. I smirked when I saw his frustrated face.

" f**k " he growled again and spat, but I was already tired of this s**t. So, instead of dodging this time, I made my move. I held his fist with my left hand and blocked his left hand using my right hand. I did not even give him a chance to think before I kicked him in his family jewels. As I predicted, in a second he growled in pain and fell on the ground.

" Remember this the next time you want to have fun with a pretty girl " I said and left.
