“I suggest you to send her far away from here” Officer Decker says in a soft voice.
What!!?
What does he mean by saying to send my granddaughter, my bambina, away!!?
She is the only person that is keeping me away from breaking!! How will I remain sane if she is not there with me!!?
I have only her and she has only me!!
She needs to be with me!!
“Officer Decker!! How can you say that I should send her away!!? Do I need to remind you that her parents are not here to look after her now!!? Then how can you say that I should send her away!!? How can you say that I should abandon my own granddaughter!!? How can I abandon her when she just lost her parents!!?” I say shouting at the officer. He did not look fazed by my outburst, but just gave me a sad look.
