I felt like I had been driving for days, but we were getting closer to the meeting place, getting closer to hopefully starting anew with my love. I gave Scarlett a wee glimpse out the corner of my eye. Her beauty is unreal. I am the luckiest person on earth right now.
“Babe, can we stop and switch places so you can get in touch with your man,” Scarlett said as she leaned over and rubbed my hand.
“Good idea, babe, we will stop and get some more petrol and switch places.” I agreed.
“You want me to go into the shop?” She asked.
“Good idea, I will fill the car up, and you go grab some more drinks for us and get some cold drinks for later, maybe get one for Max as well,” I said as I pulled into the pump.
