“Well, well, well, look who is here today, I didn’t know that you two ha started going out on lunch together, since when?” Virginia asked as she clapped her hands dramatically.

Cullen sighed before speaking, he hated the fact that she always had to ruin whatever he was enjoying to have and that there is no way he could get her out of his life, it was like she was there to stay and she was proving to be hard to deal with.

“What are you doing here, are you now following me or what now?” he asked clearly pissed off, all this time, Amelia was watching the two exchange words and then Virginia decided to put a seat for herself, always dramatic.

“I am so sorry for interrupting your lunch date, what was your name again?” she asked referring to Amelia who just gave her a blank stare she was trying to compose herself and act calm but truth be told, she was enjoying none of the drama she was causing.

“Amelia, my name is Amelia and no you were not interrupting, in fact, I was just leaving, and I will you two to catch up.” She said as she pushed her chair to leave but Cullen stopped her, he placed his hands on her laps motioning her not to go and she sat back.

“No, she is not going anywhere, you are Virginia, I have told you countless times to stop following me around like some puppet but you won’t listen to me, what is it that you want from me anyway, now I can’t even hang out with my friends and my colleagues because of you, say what you want and leave this hotel before I call the security on you, don’t forget I own it and I can throw you out anytime I want so, are you going to say what you want and leave willingly or are you going to let me call the security on you, the choice yours and don’t forget, the clock is ticking, so tick tack.” He said and Virginia sighed then laughed a short sarcastic laugh.

“So she is now your friend and colleague, wow, just wow, a girl you just met a few hours ago and what are you two even doing in this restaurant, I am not following you around by the way, this is where I have my lunch always, maybe let us say that you are the one following me around, how does that sound?” She asked with an evil smile on her lips, all this time Amelia was looking at her with anger, she would have snapped her beck if she got the chance.

“And what is it with me what do you want Virginia, because this, this is just too much and you know I am a man of my words, I don’t like these silly and petty dramas you are trying to create, I just told you to f*****g stop following me around, how do you want me to put it for you to understand huh? I don’t want you and I don’t want to be with you, is that so hard to understand?” He asked half shouting and banged the table angrily.

Virginia cringed back in fear, she had ever seen him so angry before and she sensed that’s he had now crossed a line, but she was not going to let him go so easily, she was at least going to throw a fight for him, Cullen was hers and nothing was going to change it, no one was going to change the fact that the two were meant to be together and she was going to fight any girl or lady or woman that wild snatch him away from her and that included Amelia.

“Hey, you don’t have to be angry at her, we can leave now.” Amelia said while trying to calm him down, his hand was still on her lap and she took it in hers and rubbed his knuckle softly, trying to calm him down, Cullen sighed and rubbed her hand back reassuringly.

“Huh, what is wrong with you, Amelia or whatever your name is, I want you to stay away from Cullen, he is mine and mine alone and whoever tries to take him away from me always has to face me and I don’t think you are ready to face me, I mean you don’t want to, so for your own safety, I suggest you stay away from him, that is for your own good, I have said my words and I don’t think you are dumb enough to continue doing what you are doing right now, if I were you I would have walked out of this damn hotel already but I can see you have grown some horns that I think I need to dehorn, I need to shape you, so get out Amelia.” She said and Amelia shook her head while laughing.

“I think you don’t know me Virginia, I am here with him, as my boss and not what you are thinking, there is only one reason I am here for, is to work and I think you should employ the same thing, you maybe have been bulling those interns that came here earlier than me, but let me tell you, I am not them and I will never be them, I am not naïve and I am not afraid of you, so whatever you want to do, I suggest you make it quicker because, I Amelia Watson is so ready for you, and just a little advice for you, you don’t have to throw yourself at a man that doesn’t even like you or feel the same way for you, that is like stooping so low and for a pretty lady like you, that is called being foolish which I don’t think you are.” She said and that kind of got to her, in as much as she was trying to make act cool, she knew that Amelia was probably right.

Cullen had never felt the same was for her, all the years the two had known each other, he had always been referring to her as her sister and that was the bond that he had created, a bond that she could not get rid of and she did not know how exactly she is going to do it, she was hoping that maybe one day he was going to feel the same was about her, love grows and she always believed that if they were to end up together then she was more than willing to wait for him to feel the same way about her but she did not know how she was going to get rid of her feelings for him because the harder she tried the deeper she fall in love with him and the more she tried to deny it, the more she wanted to be with him.

“I can see Melanie already told you about me, you have been busy at work I must say.”

“Yes, because I think I need to know the kind of people that are surrounding me, you can be a serial killer for all I care and I have no idea, so I just have to be cautious and careful around psychos like you.” She said and Virginia tried to slap her but Amelia held her hand midway.

“Let it be the very last time you raise your filthy hand at me, I will break those fingers, this is a whole version of an intern that doesn’t entertain stupidity, you always get away with what you do but with me, you pay for every single sin you have done, I am sorry Cullen but I have to get going, I don’t want to be late at work and I can’t be in the same room as hers, I will just call for a cab to drop me at the office.” She said and stood up but Cullen stopped her.

“There is no need for you to call a cab, I will be there in a few minutes just wait for me in the car.” He said to her and Amelia left the two inside as she took the elevators down to the parking lot.

“What is it with you; can’t you just stop it already?” Cullen asked Virginia immediately Amelia left.

“As if you don’t know, I love you Cullen but all you are trying to do is embarrass me in front of the whole world, why can you understand that I love you and get used to it, you just want the whole world to know how desperate I am for you and you don’t give a single f**k about me, now you are with her, just under my nose do you think you are being fair to me?” She asked with tears rolling down and she wiped them with the back of her hands.

“If this is all about love, I have told you so many times that I don’t feel the same was about you, you are like a sister to me and I will always treat you like one, my little sister, I don’t love you Virginia and the earlier you get that in your head and stop tormenting these innocent girls, the better or you because truth be told Virginia, I don’t love you, I love you lie my sister and I care about you, I think I have said so much for the day, and by the way, don’t you even think of harming Amelia because I swear to god, if you do, I will do something to you that you will regret so don’t let me walk down that path, you know how dark it can get if you do.” He said and stood up.

“Do you love her or do you feel something for her?”

“Love who?” Cullen asked surprised by her question.

“You know what I am asking, do you like Amelia?”

“How is that your business?”

“It became my business the moment I fall for you so answer my question, do you like her?”

“I don’t think who I like should be your business just let what I have told you stick because if you dare touch any single strand of hair on her head, I will kill you and that is a promise.” He said and then walked out leaving her at the table.
