I stepped put on the stage when everything was ready to begin. The crowd silenced and bowed as I walked up to
the micro phone. My protectors were still standing in front of me. The ceremony was quick and Nathan was crowned King. As he and I faced the members of the kingdom everyone bowed before the two of us once again.
Now the only thing I had left to do before I could relax a bit, was to accept my fathers pack as my own and
part of my Royal territory. The members all accepted the change happily. They had known and
anticipated the change since the day I was born. Now there would be a big shift in ranks and positions,
but I would deal with that come Monday morning.
After all of the ceremonies were complete and of course the close call to death, and the issue with Candy trying to take
the powers of the originals it had been one long and exhausting day. Zade walked over to me and
handed me a red solo cup. I looked up at him as he was grinning ear to ear. “You do know that we are
now legally allowed to drink right?” I asked. “Oh, I know but we can’t play beer pong without solo cups. Plus this
way is always more fun than those wine glasses “ he said laughing as Brian, Aerie and Gus walked over
holding their solo cups as well. Nathan and Marcus wasted no time grabbing one either. “To Queen
Dream and King Nathan. MAY YOUR REIGN BE LONG AND GLORIOUS” Aerie said making a toast.
After a few minutes, my parents and grandparents, along with Cornelius, Alpha Jack and a few of the
council members all were walking around with different colored solo cups. I looked around for Zade, to
say something about it but I didn’t see him. Then I heard a tapping on the microphone. There Zade
stood with his cup in his hand about to say something in the microphone.
“Dream come on up here for a minute. I mean, Queen Dream I am requesting your presence up here on the
stage." He announced. Brian and Alpha Jack just shook their heads at him. I walked up to the stage as I
stared at him. “Dream, you have been my best friend and my sister our entire lives. No wonder why you
have been blessed with the best protector well protectors there ever was. That’s me and Gus if you
were wondering.” He started. Then Brian yelled out “What about me man”. Zade answered “You went and got married.
No offense Aerie. Brian, your wife ranks higher than you on the best protector thing. But back to my best
friend. Don’t get mad Nathan when I say this but I love you Dream and it is my honor and privilege to serve you as we
start this journey all together, the way a family should be. And yes Jade. I guess that means you too . So
please everyone if you will, join us as we raise our solo cups to Queen Drean, the best Queen ever. No offense to any other
Queens in attendance and that excludes Queen Isabella about the best queen ever thing” He said as he started to fumble with his words causing everyone to laugh. "TO QUEEN DREAM! THE BEST QUEEN EVER!" Everyone shouted as everyone raised their solo cups The cheering began and the music was turned up. I had changed into a more comfortable outfit and my crown was still secured on head with the train and veil removed. Nathan and the others pulled me to the dance floor as fireworks lit up
the night skies and howls were heard everywhere as we danced under the full moon. “Tomorrow nobody
better even think about waking me up” I warned them all as we made our way inside after a bit. “Aren’t
we supposed to get a honeymoon. Or something since we did get married “ Brian asked. “Yes we did just
get married, but we also just received an entire kingdom to care for, which do you think takes
precedence right now?” I asked him. “OK. Good point. You are right.” He said dropping the subject.
“Good night guys and Aerie” I told them as I went to my floor. When I entered the entire room had been
redone and all of the things from the wedding was removed. Now I could actually see what it looked
like. All I really cared about was the bed, and me getting in it though. As I laid across the bed sideways,
my eyes immediately began to shut. In a distance I heard Nathan say “Good night my queen”.
