Chapter 17

The next morning, I awoke to breakfast in bed. "Good morning sunshine", he said as he kissed the top of my head. "Thank you. I am starved", I told him. "Well. I guess I need to warn you about today before you go downstairs and hear the news". He admitted looking guilty. I stopped eating immediately and looked at him. "What now? I don't know how much more I can take", I answered, him honestly. I was completely mentally exhausted after last night, and I was still trying to process everything. "Well, first thing we have a meeting with Alpha Lucas and the head of our army. They want to go arrest the one that is responsible for your abduction. They want to bring her here to face charges and to be put to death ", He explained. "Will I have to see her, or is there anyway that she can escape" I asked. Not wanting a chance for her to take me again somehow. "I can't say for sure, but my guess is you will have to see her to point out to the council who has had you this entire time and what she did. But I can tell you for sure that she will not be able to escape. She will be placed in a magic-proof unbreakable cell unit that can only be opened by my fingerprints since I was the one to design it. It will also be encased in silver along with electricity. If she so much as touches a wall, she will receive the shock of her life. The unit will also be heavily guarded all the way around with a drone flying above it monitoring her at all times. There will also be cameras at all angles watching her every movement." Nathan answered, easing my mind. "Ok that I can deal with, I suppose so what about after the meeting with the Alpha" I asked. So far it didn't sound bad. "Well you see word is spreading quickly that you have been found and returned here. The King and Queen will be coming to meet you. King Andrew is the Alpha's brother and that makes him your uncle. His wife is Queen Rebecca, and I will warn you she is a piece of work", he explained. "Oh great. Maybe that should wait until after I have received a few lessons on controlling my powers then" I said, trying to get out of that. Nathan laughed. "Unfortunately, it isn't that simple and your parents can go into more detail about that", he said. "My parents? Yeah, that is going to take some getting used to." I said, trailing off as I thought about last night. "Well, I guess I should go ahead and tell you that there will be a lot of changes today for you". "Of course there will have to be... " I cut Nathan off as I buried my head into my pillow screaming "I don't know how many more changes I can take right now" I nearly jumped out of my skin when a big bolt of lightning struck a tree in the front lawn followed by some running towards our room.. Nathan sat there laughing as our door about got knocked down. In ran Zade, Gus, Brian followed by Luna Penelope and Alpha Lucas. *Are you ok Jenna, I mean Dream? I don't know what to call you now?' Zade spit out, stopping at the door to our bedroom and not stepping in. The Luna stepped around him and came to my bedside. "Dear, I know you are anxious, but take a few deep breaths and drink this" She said, handing me a cup. "What is it?' I asked, smelling the warm liquid. It smelled wonderful. "It's a type of herbal tea, it will help calm you down, so you can control your emotions a little better " She told me as the Alpha walked to the window overlooking the front. "It's a shame, I liked that tree too" as he and the other guys started laughing at the poor splintered tree. "It's not funny!" I said as I tossed pillows at them all. The Luna even joined me and helped. Before we all knew it, we were in a big pillow fight. We were interrupted by a knock on my door and two older people stepped in. "Are we interrupting something " the man asked, snickering at us. The woman, however, looked grumpy. "Why are all of these men in here, and she is not even properly dressed for male visitors." she asked. I about said something, but I noticed how everyone was now bowing to the couple. "Mother, Father, I am sorry. However, they are all in here after a lightning bolt struck and scared her. They are her protectors" Alpha Lucas answered. "And what about the pillows?' She asked. "Rose just stop. They can have fun. They have missed the last eighteen years of her life. They can have a pillow fight if they want to" The man told her as he himself picked up a pillow and hit her with it. The Luna tried to suppress a laugh but it was useless. The entire room started laughing hysterically. "Hello my dear, I would be your Grandfather, Thomas " The man said introducing himself as the room quieted. He winked at me and offered a big warm smile. "And I am your Grandmother, Rose" the woman said a little bit softer, but I could tell she most certainly was very stern. "It's a pleasure meeting both of you" I said, smiling at them while the guys hurried to pick up the pillows thrown all over. "This is my mate, Nathan. I'm sure you have met him before as he is the Beta's son. These are from what I have been informed, are my protectors Zade, Gus and Brian ". The guys stopped and bowed to both of them as they were introduced. "Rose and Thomas, we all plan to meet in the conference room in just a few minutes. If you will, please wait for us in there to give everyone time to get ready. As you can imagine, we all had a very long night. And if you will, please stop Andrew and Rebecca when they come through. They can wait in the conference room as well', Luna Penelope said. "When will your mother and father be here Penelope" Rose, my new grandmother asked. "They are already downstairs waiting. They chose not to bombard her right away, but to wait until she was dressed and came down on her own" The Luna answered. "I like her" Star said. "Yeah me too, but I guess we kinda have to, since she and her wolf are our mothers." I answered my wolf. "Yeah I am still trying to get used to that" Star answered. We were interrupted as a voice echoed in my mind. "Well, you may as well get used to it because I am not going anywhere and this time neither are you. The two of you are stuck with the two of us for life". I realized it was the Luna reading and answering my thoughts. "I apologize for invading, however I should warn you that Rose will not like being ignored while you speak to your wolf, so pay attention sweetie" She said, warning me. So I was right. Rose was very strict. She was not some sweet old grandma you read about in stories. "Just as my luck would go, I got the grumpy grandma. I thought they were supposed to bring cookies and candy", I said to the Luna by link, making her giggle a bit. We were interrupted as Rose spoke out loud saying "the cookies and candy await you downstairs". Great another mind reader. It must run in the family, I thought to myself.

"Ok, if I am supposed to be at a meeting soon, I kind of would like to take a shower and get dressed first please", I informed them as I still laid in the bed. "Oh right, sorry dear" Alpha Lucas said as he ushered everyone out of the room. "Hey I am her mate" Nathan said trying to protest. "Mate or not do you think I'm going to leave any male in here after she just informed me she was getting into the shower. I don't think so" he said as he playfully shoved Nathan out of the door as well. I giggled and got up as soon as the door shut behind them.
