Luna went straight to the garden. She also noticed that the party continued inside the old house. Something unexpected happened, but others did not stop the celebration. When Luna got to the garden, she took a deep breath. She looked around again. She examined every place of it-- to see if she could find anything strange that might prove that she was not dreaming anymore. But what her eyes saw was normal. She was sure there was a clue that would help her not until she lost hope.
Before she planned to leave, she stared at the big tree. Her eyes dropped when she saw a hand fall on the grass. She did not approach it immediately. She was scared. She did not know why? She remembered Lucas. Julio was not the only one with her in the other world. Slowly her feet walked. She stopped when she could get close to the tree. She slowly glanced at the man behind the tree. It was Lucas she saw that made her legs move backward. Her heart was pounding. She didn't know if she was happy to see him or was scared because she knew his true identity. But she had the courage to walk through.
When she got a clear look at Lucas like Julio, he was also wounded. All the fear and nervousness Luna felt was gone. She ran to Lucas and immediately touched both of his cheeks. Her eyes were teary. And his eyes opened when he felt the warmth of her hand. Then, he smiled at her.
"I know you will be back here," Lucas said softly.
"You are real! This time it is no longer just a dream," she answered. Lucas forced himself to stand up. But he was too weak to sit down again. Luna remembered that he had no companion in life. He also has no house. So Luna didn't hesitate anymore. Just like what she did across the world, she would take Lucas to her home. She helped Lucas stand up. As she supported him, she looked around before they left. Fortunately, everyone was busy at the party. Luna hurried to walk. They didn't have to take a car because her house was close to the venue. She had just endured the weight of Lucas' body. When they got home, Luna kicked the door for her guardian to hear. She did not fail. Her guardian immediately opened the door for them.
"Wait," her guardian interrupted.
"Who's that guy? Did you fight with people? Why does he look like that? I'll call an ambulance," she added.
"You're not allowed to do that! He can't go to the hospital. I'll treat his wounds. Just help me get my medicine kit. Take it to my room, please ..." Luna pleaded.
"But--"
"Please, listen and just follow me," Luna didn't let her guardian continue to say something. Her feet were already walking towards her bedroom. When she entered her room, she immediately laid Lucas on her bed. She went inside the bathroom. She took a clean cloth and water from the faucet. Her guardian also entered, carrying the medicine kit she requested.
"You can leave us now," Luna pleaded again. Her guardian took a deep breath. She just obeyed her because she trusted her. But her senses could not help but feel worried. The man, Luna, was especially wounded. She went out of Luna's room. Luna has also started cleaning Lucas' wounds.
Meanwhile, while Luna was cleaning and treating Lucas' wounds, he fell asleep soundly. He didn’t just feel tired. His body was in a lot of pain. His hidden wings are especially broken. While he was resting, he came to a dream where he could see a hint of his past life. He saw in his dream that he was a guardian angel spirit that guided people who were lost on the right path. He was not a human.
Until to the point where he fell in love with a mortal. And according to the rules they follow as a guardian angel spirit, they were not allowed to fall in love with humans. But he insisted on what he wanted. So he was punished that even though he was alive, he felt that no one would sense him. That he would feel no one cared about him. His love for a mortal destroyed his character.
Lucas really felt the experience of every person he helped who had strayed from the right path. Like them, he also lost his rightful journey to being a guardian spirit. He had been punished and lost the woman he loved. He was thrown across the world.
Across the world is a world that was also within the world of humans. It was a parallel world. It can be seen and accessed by humans or other strange creatures, like spirits, demons, etc. when their inner self is troubled, they are experiencing severe trials, or they have a strong desire for life.
But the case of Lucas and Luna was different. Lucas was really meant to be thrown there. While Luna, Blood Moon brought her to that world to save Lucas from getting out of there before Lucifer could finally get him. Why did the blood moon drag Luna so easily? Is it because of its magical power? Maybe yes! But the truth of the matter is, Luna's personality is really related to the moon. Like Lucas, she was not a human either. She didn’t know it yet.
Now, why did time bring them together? A former guardian angel spirit, and one who has not yet determined what her persona was colliding with. Because the day will soon come when there will be a great apocalypse in the world of human beings. The world needed Lucas and Luna. That's why Lucas' punishment was not that hard at all. He has been given the chance to pursue his duties– to save people. Like what he has been doing in the past.
As Lucas continued to dream, Luna finished applying medicine to his wounds. He stared at Lucas' face as she sat on the floor. She laid her chin on the bed until her eyes gradually closed. She is also tired. Not just her body, but also her mind. She forgot to call the hospital that took Julio and say hello to Asta if she was still there. Lucas and she both fell asleep. The room was quiet. The light was also on. Fortunately, Luna's guardian peeked at them. She was carrying a blanket too. She put it down on Luna's body. She also closed the window. She turned on the aircon. She didn't turn off the light, because she didn't trust Lucas that much. As much as she can, as much as possible, she will watch over them.
