Chapter 16: A New Friend

"Hey, wake up!" A woman wakes Luna up while she was lying in the garden of the old house where the Blood Moon party was celebrating. She slowly opened her eyes. They blinked, and she examined their surroundings. The woman's reaction to her was awkward.

"Where am I?" she asked weakly. She also slowly stood up.

"Ha? "You're here at the Feast of the Blood Moon. I should be the one to ask you, what are you doing out here? The party isn't over yet," the woman explained.

"Thank you!" Luna said. She didn't want to ask any more questions because she didn't want to prolong a conversation with the stranger. And she was hoping that the woman would leave her. But no, the woman still stood in front of her.

"You're welcome! I've been noticing you since the party started. I want to approach you because we're both alone. I want you to be friends. Is it okay?" she answered.

Luna's thoughts were a bit lost. What happened to her across the world? She didn't know if it happened to her or it was all just a dream. First of all, why is she still on the Feast of Blood Moon?

It was like a lot had happened, then she was just outside the old house.

"Hello!" The woman disturbed her again. She looked at her, then she smiled.

"I'm sorry! What are you saying? I'm a little confused about how I got here?" Luna explained too.

"I asked if it's okay for you to be friends with me? Besides, I can also explain to you how you got here. Like I told you, I've been watching you since the beginning of the party." Again, Luna smiled. Then she sighed. Luna nodded her head to the woman. Sign that she accepted her offer. She also wanted to know how he got to the garden without realizing it. The woman suddenly hugged her. She was so excited. When she removed her hug from Luna, she introduced herself.

"My name is Asta. How about yours?" Asta asked her formally.

"Luna!"

"You know, I'm also wondering what you did. At midnight, it's like you took a sleep walk. I followed you. Then you suddenly fainted there. I've been waking you up for a long time. I was planning to call an ambulance, but you suddenly woke up." Asta explained to her immediately what came about to her.

"Didn't you see anyone else with me?" Luna asked. Because in her memory, someone dragged her out of the old house and kissed her out of nowhere.

"Hmm .. do you see anyone else besides the two of us?" Luna shook her head. Asta laughed out loud.

"Come on, let's go back inside the old house. I dare to stay there because I already have a friend. And that's you, Luna. Let us party all night long," Asta said happily. Luna could do nothing but give in to Asta. Besides, she wanted to prove something. She has a reason to stay at the Feast of Blood Moon. Her body still felt heavy. For her, it was a real experience to meet Lucas. She even saw Lucifer. Then, Julio popped up in her head. Julio and Luna are supposed to meet at the party.

"Let's hurry! Someone is waiting for me," Luna said to Asta. Her pace quickened. Asta was also in a hurry. What they didn’t know, they didn’t notice that Lucas was just behind the tree while he was wounded. Luna is already focused on Julio because she is always with him. Lucas also meant not to call or approach Luna because she was with someone. Lucas will rest first where he is. He knew Luna would be back.

Meanwhile, Luna and Asta are back inside the old house. It was noisy inside while others were dancing and drinking alcohol. Luna immediately looked at the wall clock. It's only been an hour since midnight. Her eyes widened because she was looking for Julio. But she couldn't see him anywhere. She began to suspect again.

"I have to leave you here first. I'll call someone," Luna said goodbye to Asta. Her new friend just nodded. When Luna stepped up to leave, they all heard a loud shout.

"Help! Help! Please help!" A shout from a woman. Many men approached her. And they all bowed at once as if they were picking up someone. The loud music stopped. The men brought the man to the light. When Luna saw that, the man was Julio. Unconscious and wounded. To Luna's shock, her mouth fell open. What happened to them registered immediately in her mind. Slowly she raised both her hands to cover her mouth. If that's the case with Julio, it means she really traveled to another world.

"Who's with him? Call an ambulance," a man shouted. Most of them dialed a number to call for help. Luna didn't answer, and she did not inform them that she was with Julio because they hadn't met yet at the venue.

"You look so shocked! Do you know him?" Asta said suddenly. Luna immediately fixed herself. She pulled Asta's hand away from everyone. She took Asta to the corner.

"Are you sure you didn't see anyone with me go out in the garden?"

"Yes!" When Asta answered, Luna suddenly left her.

"What's wrong with her? As expected, she's weird!" Asta whispered to herself. Luna approached where Julio was. She also said that Julio was with her. Asta also followed her. She helped Luna take care of Julio while they waited for the ambulance to arrive.

There were many issues with the people there. Especially since Luna isn’t asking what happened to Julio? Asta felt the same way because, since they were still in the garden, it seemed like something was happening to Luna that only she knew about. But Asta ignored that at first. As well as Luna, she first avoided hitting the people there who were making false news. She had to take care of Julio. She tore at the dress she was wearing. He tied it to Julio's big wound. Astra also offered a handkerchief that could wipe the blood on Julio's skin.

"Hey, don't touch him. Don't remove the possible evidence from his body. You may be the one who did that, so you're cleaning his body. You're just going to hide the crime you committed," a woman said fiercely.

"What did you say?" Astra suddenly stood up. She faced the woman and she pushed her shoulder.

"If we did that, we wouldn't be here. Use your brain, girl!" Asta said boldly. The woman stared at her. Until the ambulance arrived. Julio was immediately taken by the men inside the ambulance. Luna and Asta followed. They stared at each other.

"Can I ask you a favor? Can you go with my friend to the hospital?" Luna pleaded with Asta.

"But why me? I still want to party," Asta refused.

"Because you're my friend too, right? Aren't friends working together? Please, help me. I'll just take care of something and find out who did it to her," Luna pretended, even though she already knew what really happened. Asta took a deep breath. Then, she nodded her head.

"Thank you so much! I'll go to the hospital right away when I'm done," Luna said as she ran away from them. She was planning to go back to the garden. She knew she could get an answer in that area. In their world, only an hour has passed. Meanwhile, across the world, they have lived there for several days.
