Everyone was dead.
My mother, Doctor Kore, Chris. Everyone. Christian Cardinal had killed everyone on the island but me. Piper and me. I had to save her and get us off of the island. I couldn’t believe she’d come. I’d told her to stay away but she’d decided that she was going to come to save me anyway. That was the type of person that she was. I loved her for it. But she also drove me crazy. If she was with me, she was always going to be in danger.
