Vampire Interrogation

Donny had thought he’d had some bad come downs before. But as he sat panting and sweating in the Knight’s million-dollar basement cage, he knew this was the worst. He’d thrown up five times, all purplish little blobs followed by some weird flower that had been horrible to come out. And as he lay retching on the ground as his stomach lay empty now, he couldn’t even look as two men walked in. His world was righted as he was made to sit up and watched as he was left alone with the two old men. Usually Donny would have been confident he could take them. But after seeing them both take on the guy who had originally tried to kidnap him with a lazy confidence, he wasn’t so sure now. “W-what the f**k did you people do to me?” He growled the purple goo around his mouth making it sticky and hard to talk.  “Well for starters you were poisoned with a strand of wolfsbane that is very painful to the highest degree. It’s known to have some,” Gregory looked at the flowers Donny was throwing up, “Painful effects.” Shaking erratically as he looked at them pissed Donny hissed, “The hell you people do to me?” Gregory laughed coldly before saying, “What did we do? Well we found you on the street after being poisoned by that bartender you were confiding in.” Donny rolled his eyes and grumbled, “f*****g Elijah.” Daniel laughed as he lightly told him, “Don’t be so cross with him. Demons usually don’t show loyalty to anyone but themselves.” Donny began hacking up more of the purple blobs and flowers and groaned in disgust as one exploded in his mouth. A disgusting slimy purple pace slid out of Donny’s mouth making him retch in revulsion. “What the hell is this s**t?” he spluttered as his stomach flipped painfully, “This is your body reacting to the wolfsbane you were poisoned with. The blood you consumed is coming up right now, for now you’re okay.” Danie told him smirking. “It’s when you start throwing up black, your own blood, you should start worrying.” Donny paled and looked around in fear that they’d actually let him die.  Holding up two needles, Gregory explained, “Now I can heal you with the cure, or I can give you something that’ll make this even worse for you. Your choice.” Donny looked at the yellow needle Gregory swore was the cure and the other one filled with a red liquid that looked like death. “What do you want?” He asked knowing the cure wouldn’t come free. Daniel pulled up a chair in front of Donny and sat down like a gentleman with his ankle over his knee. “What did Wraith want you to do?” Donny huffed as he struggled to focus, “He wanted me to make noise. Draw attention and then he was supposed to call his old man, pretend like Mr. Knight had lost his mind. Changed me at random and then he was going to try and get rid of all of Alaia’s family.”   Daniel c****d an eyebrow “How come you didn’t do as told?” Donny scoffed not wanting to answer. But Gregory came at him with the needle with the red liquid and Donny called uncle quick as his veins seemed already to be on fire just looking at it. Whatever was already in his system was kicking his ass. And he didn’t think adding something else on top would approve the experience. “Alright, alright, alright!” He said holding up his hands. Gregory stopped where he was a foot from Donny and the younger man righted himself trying to appear in control. But considering he had thrown up on his jeans, his skin looked grey, and he could barely string a sentence he wasn’t fooling anyone. “I didn’t do what Wraith said because he was a liar.” Donny confessed.  Daniel made the motion for Donny to continue, so Donny smirked sarcastically before saying, “He said I was going to be able to have Alaia. That she was my mate and that’s why she killed me, but then I heard him talking to his kid. Saying how she was for him and they were going to kill me when it was over. So, I split and stayed hidden until I could get close enough to Alaia.” Daniel c****d an eyebrow, “And why is that? Why didn’t you just leave? You had a golden opportunity with everyone thinking you were dead. But instead all you did was kill a bunch of innocent young women.” Rolling his eyes as his teeth chattered, Donny felt suddenly cold as he hissed “Not really innocent though, are they? No one is in this world is.” Leaning forward, Donny hissed, “And I’m not going anywhere without Alaia. That’s the reason she brought me back, to be with me.” Scoffing, Donny gloated mockingly, “I knew that chump Wynter couldn’t handle her. Which is why she came running to a real man.” Gregory c****d an eyebrow as he stepped back. Daniel stood and towered over Donny making him nervous, “Chump? A real man? Huh, funny it seems you keep thinking you’re the victim here. And I’ll tell you this, my grandson, is one of the finest young men of this generation.” Daniel looked Donny over disgusted as he retched, “You? You’re some “daddy didn’t love me, so he bought me” c***k baby that ends up in therapy sniffing glue. You’re a broken little boy who was brought back to life by a broken man.” Looking Donny over, Daniel sneered, “He thought you’d ruin their lives. But all you did was leave disaster in your wake for other people. All while foolishly holding out for something that will never be.” Donny was livid as he growled in disbelief, “She brought me back! She wants to be with me!” Daniel turned and looked over his shoulder at Alaia, “Did you bring him back?” Alaia having come into the room silently, looked at Donny with disgust, “f**k no.” Gregory laughed as Donny looked at Alaia with a dazed look in his eye, “Alaia, you don’t have to be afraid anymore!” Alaia looked at Donny confused, “What in the actual hell are you talking about?” Donny desperately got on his knees so he could stare into Alaia’s eyes, “For the moment I saw you, I knew you were something special. At first, I thought I was just messing with Wynter, getting him all riled up. But then, you looked at me, and I saw you. I saw you and when you showed me who you were, I knew we were meant to be together.” Rubbing a hand through his sweaty blonde hair, Donny admitted crazed, “I couldn’t get you out of my head! Every second of every day you were on my mind! And then when you killed me, I felt your fear. I knew you were simply scared to hurt me.” Smiling with his purple stained teeth, the spiraling vampire teen announced, “But now you don’t have to worry. I’m just like you, and we can be together now. Forever.” Alaia was in a state of shock as she stood with a hand over her mouth. Daniel and Gregory waited in silence, and then Alaia started to leave. Because in her opinion she had nothing to say to Donny. It was clear to her she could say it so many times until her face was blue. He was too far gone and had convinced himself his delusions were real. As she started out the door, Alaia had no desire or need to look back. But he ran on numb legs and banged hard on the glass. It didn’t even leave a scratch as Donny yelled, “Don’t you walk away from me Alaia! You want me! I saw it in your eyes!” When Alaia turned and looked at him, Donny pleaded for her to admit the truth, “You’re like me.” Alaia shook her head, “No Donny, I don’t think anyone in the world is like you.” And then she left him alone again with Daniel and Gregory. Daniel now held the syringes and Donny groaned as his veins began to turn purple under his skin. He lost even more color if possible and slumped on the floor like a sack of potatoes. “Well?” Donny groaned as he growled in pain, “I answered all your f*****g questions. Now give me the antidote!” Daniel smirked as he looked at Gregory, “Is he in any position to demand anything?” Gregory shook his head, “Nope.” Donny paled and righted his tone, “Please give me the antidote. I swear I don’t know anything. All I know is Wraith used me as a diversion so he could get Alaia for his son.” Gregory knew that was true, but he still didn’t like it. “I know he didn’t tell you s**t else,” Gregory said casually, “Because while Wraith isn’t my biological son, he was raised by me. And he’s picked up a few tricks." Looking Donny over, Gregory taunted, “The most important? Never trust the weak link with strong secrets.” Frowning severely, Donny thought to get anger, but it turned into a cowardly meek look quick. As Daniel held up the syringe with red liquid inside, he told him what it was, “Dragon Tears, a very potent and seductive drug. From what I hear, a high on this is ten times more effective than anything a mortal could hope to have.” Looking at Donny, Daniel asked with a kind voice, “What is the most excessive drug you’ve poisoned yourself with young man?” Donny quivered as he admitted, “X.” Daniel held up the needle with a sinister smile, “Meet X times a thousand times worse. And for the first time, well let’s just say the trip is way better than the high.” Donny paled and protested. “Come on,” Donny pleaded, “I told you everything you wanted to know!” Daniel didn’t care about that, “Yeah, you also have killed fifteen innocent young women in a span of a week. Not to mention you attacked my grandson and interfered with his mating. Do you really think I’m letting that go unpunished?” The door to the basement opened and the three looked as Jasper walked in. Donny thanked his lucky stars and eagerly pleaded, “Yo Jas, tell your grandpops we cool!” As the door to the cage opened, Jasper walked past Donny, “Cool? Nah Donald I think you must already be high.” Accepting the needle from his grandfather, Jasper thanked him before asking politely, “You two don’t mind if I ask a couple questions?” Both Gregory and Daniel encouraged him, and Jasper looked down at a shaking Donny. With the white of his eyes turning purple, purple blood on his chin, and death in his aura Jasper winced in disgust. He hadn’t thought he’d ever be here right now. Helping torture an ex classmate, but he honestly had to know, “Why did you attack Paige?” Donny was shocked at this question and then laughed, “Wow, you came in here to ask about your ex when your girl is listening? Dumb ass.” Jasper was in no mood to play with Donny and started to him with a needle. Donny seeing that he was seriously coming at him held up his hands, “Why does it matter?” He shouted in confusion, “You’re with Alaia, why do you care I attacked Paige?” Peering down at Donny with his eyes set to kill mode, Jasper barked, “Because, I want to know.” Kneeling so they were eye level, Jasper thought of the theory he placed together, “I know every female you’ve attacked since turning were random.” Ticking off fingers, Jasper recalled, “All girls our age, pretty, and alone. They didn’t know you and you killed them when you were done. But you attacked Paige and left her alive. Why?” Donny scoffed as he tried to come off like before. Cocky and in control, “I was hungry and in the area. Nothing else.” Gregory grabbed Donny by the face, “You’re lying, I wouldn’t right now considering.” And the three of them watched black blood began to run from Donny’s eyes. Donny blinked rapidly in fear as he looked at Jasper incredulous, “Are you seriously going to stand there and watch me die?” Jasper shrugged as he taunted, “Up to you.” Looking between the stony faces, Donny gulped, “Fine! Okay, I was pissed at her and wanted to confront her on something she said.” Jasper rolled his eyes not believing that was it, “And you waited to do until you were a vampire? Seriously?” Donny met Jasper’s eyes growling, “She kept avoiding me when I was human. Kept blowing me off even though I wasn’t even trying to hurt her I was just trying to talk!” Jasper stepped forward with the red syringe, uncapping it, Jasper hissed, “So what did you do? Why did you want to see her so badly?” Donny frowned as he spat out, “She told the therapist at the rehab we went to, that I had r***d her. That, that was the reason she had started using.” Daniel stiffened as his grandson’s aura turned murderous, Donny shook as Jasper’s grey eyes seemed to be white almost. “And did you?” Donny was scared to answer that question. Because in his mind? No, no he hadn’t r***d Paige. But in her mind and Jasper, what happened that night between them, might get him killed. “N-no. Look man I know I went after Paige for the wrong reasons, but I swear I never meant to hurt her.” He tried to sound sincere and genuine in his words. But Daniel whispered something in Jasper’s ear that had a smile coming to his face, A lethal smile that had Donny falling back in fear. “It’s funny,” Jasper taunted coming closer, “Both of these drugs could heal you. One? You’d be perfectly fine in seconds. The other? Well not so much.” Donny shook his head as Jasper grabbed his head baring a vein in his neck. “C-come on man,” Donny pleaded. Jasper smirked, “Think of this as payback for last year, everything you did to Paige, and for bothering Alaia.” Injecting Donny with the drug they watched his veins glow red. Donny hollered as the drugs took hold of him, he moaned and withered in pain as he thrashed around. Jasper watched unaffected as his grandfather joined him, “Now what do we do?” It was Gregory who answered as he said, “Now, we go to war.”
