I was glad for another calm night. After everything that went down at the barbeque, I’d been worried Juniper would have more nightmares. It seemed like the sedative put her in a deep enough sleep that she wasn’t really dreaming at all. When my alarm went off in the morning I helped her get up, brush her hair, and sent her off to shower. Teddy was going to help her with washing her hair.
