Talia wasn't finished with her interrogation. She leaned forward between the front seats, her voice taking on a more serious tone.
"Brother, you're already twenty-eight. When are you planning to find a mate?"
Kaelan's grip on the steering wheel tightened slightly. "Mind your own business."
"I can't mind my own business! You're my only family left. If you don't mate and have pups, how am I supposed to face our parents when I see them again?"
Talia's voice carried genuine worry. "Do you know how many eligible she-wolves from prominent packs are interested in you? I could introduce you to dozens of them!"
"I could even help you pursue them. Just give me a name, and I'll make it happen."
Kaelan remained silent for a long moment.
