My words were followed by an outburst of hisses and jeers in the private lounge. The sound echoed off the walls like a pack of wolves mocking their Alpha.
Jasper Kane poked his head out from beside me, grinning like the troublemaker he'd always been. "Sister-in-law, I want to eat a cake you made yourself too. Make one for me on my birthday next year, okay?"
