~~Sadie's PoV~~
Everyone else leaves, taking Micah's dad's body with them, and I turn back to Logan a little shyly. He's standing there completely naked, of course, and even though I know I shouldn't, I can't help glancing down at him.
When I lift my eyes again, he's smiling at me, his eyebrows raised. “Really, Sadie? You couldn't wait a few more days?”
“What do you mean?” The way he's looking at me makes my heart race.
“I mean, it's your 18th birthday in a few days,” he reminds me. “And then I can claim you properly as my mate. With everything that involves.”
He steps closer to me, his scent flooding my senses. He smells like rain and the ocean, a smell I could definitely drown in.
“You want to wait until then?” I can't help asking, and he laughs.
