"Baby relax you are causing a scene,relax" he says and i turn back to face him
"Causing a scene huh! We're it not for you! I wouldn't be here she wouldn't be calling me a b***h" i shout at him but he still can't let me go
"I said I'm sorry,it's my fault i admit and i don't know how I'm going to make things right but i want you to know that I'm really sorry,i didn't mean to hurt you" he says and thinks I'll buy that lie again
"So you meant to make me happy by cheating on me huh!?I'm afraid but I'm not listening to any more crap,that's too much for me to handle already,let me go"
"Please listen to me,just give me a minute of your time i explain things to you,I'm really sorry about everything i did to you,i know I'm not justified to explain anything to you but i want you to know that I'm really sorry"
"Okay,let me go" i almost shout at him but he doesn't let go. Just then Barry shows up to save my ass
"She said you should let her go" Barry tells him but he still doesn't let go of my arm
"And what are going to do to stop me from holding her hands,my girlfriend"
"She stopped being your girlfriend the moment you f****d up and cheated on her so i would advise you kindly let her go,I'm asking nicely" Barry says and i know he is just trying to keep his cool otherwise he would have beaten the crap out of him already
"And what if i say no? What are you going to do huh?" He dared him
"Okay this is what I'm going to do if you don't listen to me" Barry says and hits him hard on his jaw and he reels back in pain
"What the f**k!" Bruce shouts and makes to hit carry back but he catches his hand midway and twists it before he drags me with him to my car.
He makes sure I'm settled and he just stares at me, the intense look on his face makes me loose my control,i find myself smashing my lips on his and he doesn't hesitate,he kisses me back with intensity and i find myself moaning in his mouth,it had been long since someone touched me and i find myself responding to all his touches,be us surely a good kisser,no lie. He gropes my ass from my dress and carries me to his laps so that I'm straddling him
He kneads my boobs from my dress and i clutch on his arms for support as i moan silently in his mouth. Just then the car window is knocked and i jump from his laps and settle on the other passengers seat. I'm even ashamed of my act but it's not like i forced him to kiss me,he literally kissed me back.
When i met Barry six years ago,i never thought I'd develop feelings for him,he was my best friend and we stayed like that for about two years before he confessed his feelings for me and we found out that we two loved each other,i don't know if it was love or just lust,but we were very fond of each other,we would occasionally make out,kiss but we never jeopardized our relationship with s****l feelings,i wanted my first time to be on my wedding day and he knew that so we always took things slowly.
We stayed like that for almost a year when i realised i just had stupid feelings and weird emotions,my heart belonged to someone else, Bruce,i talked to him and he understood it,he agreed to fake the relationship with me just to see if Bruce will be moved on or he had already moved on,but seems like Barry's feelings were real, from the way he looks at me,i have no doubt. I introduced my friend Melanie to him and hooked them up, Melanie fall for him so deep but i don't think Barry did,he still loves me.
"Hey guys,are you okay?" Melanie asks the moment Barry opens the door for her,she looks at me and realises the uncomfortableness
"I'm sorry if I intruded,i know what happened and you need some time alone but i brought your phone for you, Ruby has been calling you non-stop,i had to lie to her that you are in the rest room,they are waiting for you"she says and that's when it hits me,i was supposed to meet them at the reception
"We should get going, Barry can you please drive us to the reception?" I ask after i take my phone from her
"Of course, Melanie hop in we should get going"
"You guys should drive first to the reception, I'll drive along with Eileen,she asked me to be her ride"
"Okay see you at the reception then" i say to her
"Okay,she closes the door behind her and leaves.
The awkwardness after she leaves and the uncomfortableness
"What happened I'm sorry" Barry tried to explain but i beat him up to it
"I'm sorry I'm the one who kissed you first, and I'm really sorry" i say genuinely
"No you shouldn't feel sorry about it, you know how I feel about you Bree but i respect your decision" he says and reverses the car as he drives out of the church compound. Just then my phone rings and it's Ruby
"b***h ice been calling you non stop where are you?"
"On my way sorry Ruby,give me ten minutes I'll be there" i say to her and she sneers,i know she's super mad at me but she can't stay mad forever
"Just put on you dead, everyone else bad changed into their reception dresses"
"Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes" i say and hung up. I ask Barry to drive a little bit faster
"Do you mind if I change my dress from here?" I ask him hoping he doesn't mind because I'm left with no choice
"Of course not,it's your car remember?"
"Come on I'm not talking about ownership I'm talking about you being comfortable with me changing from here"
"Nope i don't mind,you can use the backseat though" he says and i like the idea. I immediately jump in the backseat and pull out my cream reception dress from my handbag. The theme was baby pink and cream, baby pink for the church venue and cream for the reception
After about five minutes, I'm done and i asks him to help me with the zipper after we pack our car at the reception venue. Everyone is settled and I'm kind of feeling nervous, Barry realises it and takes my hand in his, cameras are clicking all over, Barry is a well known chef so i won't be surprised if people asked for a selfie with him. He walks me to the main table where Ruby and Russell are seated. He takes the seat beside mine, all this while our hands entwined.
I look on the other side and i see Barry looking at me but right now i care less what he thinks, he is the one that started all the games, he first cheated on me with my own cousin, someone i had trusted so i would be half if i joined him in his own game. Suddenly Bailey shows up and sits next to him, she smirks at me and i smile at her, if she wants me to play games, I'll gladly do so. We cut the cake and soon it's time for dancing, Ruby and Russell are dancing in a slow motion and soon people start filling the dancing area
"Can we go for dancing?" I also Barry who is engrossed on his phone
" Are you sure?"
"Of course i have never been so sure about anything before" i say and take his hands in mine as i lead him to the dancing floor. We dance for a while before Barry joins us with Bailey and they water dancing, I'm kind off distracted watching the two and it just pisses me off every time I see them dancing together, just then Bailey kisses him and i loose my cool
"Kiss me!" I tell Barry and he looks at me surprised
"Are you for real?"
"Yes please just kiss me" i plead with him an d he doesn't disappoint, he grabs me and plants his soft lips on mine and that's all i need to kiss him back.
By the time we are done, Bruce and Bailey are nowhere to be seen. Game well played.
