It was as her mother put a bully in her place, Katherine leaned on her mate for comfort, she was quiet holding on to Henry. Driving half a mile into the forest on a path, Henry kissed her head as she cuddled into his neck. “Are you okay?” Katherine nodded as she tried to lie and say she was fine. But she wasn’t.
Bartha Mae had gotten to her.
“It’s aged them, hasn’t it?” Because yes it had. And with all their fighting? Katherine hated it and now that things were better, she wanted to go back and do everything different. To get to where they were now in a different, easier way so she could have more good times.
Swallowing hard as guilt felt like a stone on her gut, Henry didn’t say anything until the car stopped. He parked and grabbed her hands as the Jeeps’ ac made their skin cool, “What did she say that has you so upset?” Katherine hated repeating the fight and her fears, but Henry took them and promised, “Your parents are good people and while your relationship has had it’s ups and downs, it doesn’t take away from the relationship. They love you Katherine, and today, tomorrow, or the next decade, you have with them? It will be whatever you make it now. And know when it’s their time? You won’t be alone.”
Nodding as he hugged her tight, Katherine was surprised when they had a little bit of a hike once out of the car and unloaded.
Shrugging when he asked if she was okay with that, Katherine waved him off, “I used to go on hikes in California. I actually miss it. Let’s go.” She helped him with some of the luggage much to his chagrin, but he could admit his mate was much sturdier and tougher than she looked. Not complaining about the walk or the time, she didn’t stop a lot or need to tell him to slow down.
Instead as the two athletic people walked up the trail with an easy stride together, Henry enjoyed it more than he thought possible. And he knew it was only because of her. Looking at her enjoying the sun on her face, Henry heard her heartbeat. Sound making his brain become fuzzy matter, her scent mixed with sweat and her adrenaline pumping, had his head throbbing. And not the one on his shoulders.
Licking his lips as he saw a droplet of sweat slid down her chest, Henry fought the obscene fantasy of following that salty line down to her breast, suckling on cute pink n*****s-
He slipped on a moss-covered rock.
“Ah, f**k!” He hissed as he felt his ankle bend weird.
Huffing, Henry flopped on his ass as his ankle and d**k now both throbbed. And he didn’t know which was more painful.
Rushing over to him, Katherine asked concerned, “Are you okay?” Nodding, Henry’s focus was only on that beautiful chest bouncing in his face as she breathed, “Let me have a look.” Kneeling in front of him and making it worse, she was so focused on his wound she didn’t see his bag hiding his erection.
Luckily so, as she focused on the ankle and noted it was a little swollen and turning red but nothing major. Knowing it wouldn’t take long to heal with him being a werewolf, she knew she couldn’t wait. Still having a way to go and not wanting to be in the woods at night with unfamiliar creatures lurking for meals, Katherine quickly grinded mint, cardamom, and peppermint into a wrap and placed it over his ankle before chanting. Healing with his blood, Henry groaned as he felt the pain subside.
“Let’s give it a minute before you walk on it okay?” Nodding, Henry looked at her as she sat down and leaned back on her hands. Face to the sun, the strawberry blonde perfection of her hair shined like gold as her puffy pink lips smiled a little, “So are you going to tell me where we’re going?”
Henry grinned a little snapping out of his admiring, “I’m not telling you. It’s a surprise. One I know you’ll love. Your dad told me.” Katherine gave him a mocking glare, “I don’t like you two being friends and making plans behind my back.”
Laughing, Henry teased, “Well too bad. Because David is a great teller of tells and has baby pictures. And might I say that hair cut with the bangs was a choice.” Gasping in shock, she was up and hitting his arm, “Shut up! My mom gave me that haircut! Ugh I can’t believe he still has pictures of it! He thought it was so funny!”
She’d been so mad at him too. Laughing at her being mortified at her mom’s hack job of her hair.
Which led to many nights of him bribing her with ice cream to not be mad at him anymore. “I’m so going to burn those damn pictures!" Laughing, Henry held her little fists as she tried to attack him in her embarrassed fury. But as Henry’s laughter and strength made her calm down she blushed, as their laughter together made the bright mid-day sun feel brighter, the air warmer, the shade cooler, and the moment sweeter.
Eyes locking as their laughter became just stray chuckles and giggles, both felt the tug and leaned in together. Kisses happening in a flurry of passion and need, Henry pulled Katherine into his lap suddenly and she came willingly, her fingers in his hair as he gripped her ass through her shorts. Straddling his hips, Katherine’s breath panted out as his hand slid in between them and into her shorts, rubbing her fast through her panties.
Henry kissed her when she whimpered a little, but he didn’t speed up, he didn’t want to rush. Goddess bless him did he love those faces.
She was so honest, giggling as she whined frustrated, she loved it, “Henry, give me more.” He liked when she kissed him like she’d f**k him with that kiss. It almost felt like she did. Katherine was so turned on now that modesty wasn’t a trait she could keep and instead a wildness was unleashed as she fisted his shirt ordering, “Put them inside of me.” He slid her panties to the side and watched her face as his middle finger pushed inside of her slow like she wanted.
Her soft cry, followed by a moan as she tightened around him like she wanted more, Henry’s jaw clenched as she bit her bottom lip enjoying herself. He didn’t watch, he couldn’t, not as she felt him pull his finger out, push two in, and hit the spot she loved as his thumb rubbed over her c**t.
Body shuddering as she said his name, Henry’s d**k was hard enough he could break cement. And as Katherine felt said d**k and felt nothing but the desire to have it all, she was sure the woods were about to get a show as she locked eyes with Henry’s.
Only as they started to abandon sense and surrender to the nature that ruled them, both jumped and turned as a loud caw scared them.
Cawing again, a crow flew over their heads scaring her as she whispered, “Goddess and cheese.” Seeing it getting later though, Henry stood with her as he tried to calm down.
“That just shows we shouldn’t keep lingering out here. It’s going to be dark soon and I don’t want to spend the night fighting off anything trying something stupid.”
Nodding, Katherine looked down, “Is your ankle okay?” Checking on his right ankle, he flexed it and nodded, “Good as new.” Taking the wrap off and starting back on the path, it was thirty minutes later, Henry made her giggle as he put her in front of him and covered her eyes.
“What are you doing Henry Foy?”
Henry shrugged as he admitted, “I just thought this would be fun. I can admit, I got the idea from your dad and it’s Kaiser’s place. But he said we could borrow it for the night.” Smelling dewy grass and hearing water, Katherine was clueless until she was speechless.
Not believing what her eyes saw, Katherine gasped as she looked at the magnificent structure in front of her.
A wonderous and beautiful home, it wasn’t just a home, but an actual tree house.
It’s roots of what looked like a great oak, the house in the middle was made of the same wood as if it had been naturally born into the tree it sat in. Trees canopying the roof as if protecting it from nature, the lake it overlooked sat surrounded by the rocky cliffs around them.
Turning to Henry, Katherine gushed, “No way!”
Henry shrugged as he grinned seeing her already so excited and admitted, “They already had plans to come but Ina couldn’t because she’s not feeling up to it with the baby so close to coming. Kaiser offered the place.” And as his mate squealed her enjoyment before thanking him adorably, Henry felt he should kiss the witch as she walked to the home.
Surrounded by water fairies and tiny pixies, Katherine greeted them in fairy language making them all bow and then fly around her. Giggling, she walked up the stone steps with Henry and as they came up the spiral staircase that brought them to the front door of the house, the modern home was incredible.
“You have got to be joking.” Henry shared Katherine’s sentiment as he opened the home for them. What opened into a spacious living room, it’s shiny wooden floors stretched into a kitchen. It’s windows all massive and letting in the setting sun, the furniture all looked comfortable. Walking past the soft plush couch, Katherine threw down her bag as she opened the door to the balcony letting in the last week of April’s air into the cabin.
Humming as she walked to the rail, she grinned looking at the lake and the beautiful scenery. Quarter moon rising in the late evening sun already, she turned and looked at Henry who was sitting their food and stuff out of the cooler and into the refrigerator.
Moving as he began getting things together for dinner and making a mental map in his brain, his adorable face of concentration did something to Katherine. Mind numb as she bit her bottom lip, Henry stilled and when he looked up and noticed her expression, he fought it.
Her look telling him to come and f**k her until her eyes hurt from rolling too hard would have to wait.
“Want to go and look around?” Nervous but excited Katherine did with a cute little nod. Watching her go, Henry’s eyes on her ass didn’t go unnoticed as she looked over her shoulder and caught him red handed. Winking at her, he watched her roll her eyes before going to explore.
