“Excellent practice, everyone. I think we’re definitely ready for Tuesday’s performance,” the Director said. “Caden, excellent as always. Keep up that passion. Everyone should take notes from you.”
He nodded at the compliment. Ever since he and Alexis cleared the air, his playing had certainly gotten better. Caden was content and relaxed and it showed. His playing had become lighter and more energetic. It was the perfect combination for the pieces the Director selected for their spring concerts.
“Hey man,” Levin greeted as he and Mica approached, “Devon isn’t wrong. Your playing has jumped up like ten notches.”
“That’s because my man finally got his girl,” Mica laughed, slinging an arm around Caden. “And he ain’t spending his nights alone, are you?”
