“I’m a werewolf,” Allie said. Sarah stared at Allie without saying a word. The silence was uncomfortable. “Nari-ya?”
“Sarah?” Carter called her name and waved his hand in front of her face. Sarah continued to stare at Allie.
“Nari-ya?” Allie called out and shook her.
“Huh? What?”
“Did you hear what I said?”
“Uh … I … I mean, I heard you, but I .. I think I must have misheard.”
“What did you hear?” Allie asked.
“Y-y-you just said that you’re a we-we-werewolf?”
“That’s exactly what I said.” Sarah blankly stared once again but smiled. Her smile turned into a deep chuckle and then into a manic laugh. Allie furrowed her brows and looked at Carter, who shrugged his shoulders. Sarah continued to laugh maniacally. “Nari-ya …”
“Oh, wow. Whoo, I’m sorry,” she pause
