Logan’s grip on my hand tightened as I woke up. My body was still aching due to the wolfsbane. He leaned down and pressed his forehead against mine. “I thought that I was going to lose you, Alyssa,” he whispered, his voice heavy with emotion.
I managed a weak smile, trying to ease his fear. “I’m here, Logan. I’m okay.”
