Chapter 10 They waited, their backs against the earth. Once the crickets started to chirp, and creatures rustled the underbrush, Prince Bennett sank to the ground, and Pippa, still in his grip, followed. “I think,” he said, his voice low, “that we can risk bandaging your arm.” Pippa nodded, and that one small movement made her head swim.
