Anne As I knew I wouldn't, I didn't get everything done. And since Lexie had already stopped by my place, I didn't worry about my cat. I also gave in to getting the clothes Lexie had picked up for me from her. Well, I should say I met her at Snoopy's and changed into the skinny jeans and one of my riskier shirts. A relatively tight, form-fitting strapless shirt that showcased the girls really well and was short enough to show off a small amount of my stomach. But it only gave you a peek at it and didn't show too much. It was one of the few shirts that I never wore a bra with. Not even a strapless bra. I didn't like the way they looked with the top, and the top fit better without anyway. Lexie also grabbed me a pair of black strappy high heels. In all, the outfit is exactly what I would wear on a night out. After getting changed, I rode with Lexie in her car, mainly because I didn't know where I was going. And because she insisted I ride with her. Iron was already at the bar with the guys, and Blaine was with Iron's mom. To my disappointment, that was where Iron and Lexie were going to stay when they left the bar later. But I tried not to dwell on that for now and enjoy a night out with my best friend. The ride to the bar didn't take long. The place would have been hard to miss, really. The parking lot was full. With only a couple of cars, the rest of the parking lot was taken up by several motorcycles. Standing out front were a handful of guys. All of them were just as nice as they always are, even holding the door for Lexie and me as we walked inside. I have gone with Lexie to several get-to-gethers over the last couple of years of her and Iron being together. Along with meeting several of the members. I have learned a lot over that time. One of the biggest being the guys were all big flirts. They also believed in holding doors for every woman. That included little girls. It wasn't because the guy was hoping to get in the girl's pants. No, I have seen the same guys that have opened a door for me open a door for little girls. One of which had to be around three or so, and the same guy that had held a door for me held it for her. Treating her just as sweetly as he had me. It was something all the guys do. I have also learned that many of the guys were players, and not all of them were like Iron. Not all of the guys were looking to settle down. They were looking to hook up with you, and that was it. Maybe if you were lucky, they would sleep with you more than once, before not calling you back. Of course, a few guys like Iron gave a relationship a fair chance, but I think Lexie got lucky in finding him. But that was all from observing the guys when I have gone out with Lexie. Now with that said, that doesn't mean I don't like to flirt right back with the guys when they come up and flirt with me. That also doesn't mean that I may or may not have thought about letting one or two of the guys into my pants and seeing where things lead us. But so far, I haven't given in because, if I am being honest, I don't do well with rejection. And a guy sleeping with me and then never calling me back would be the ultimate rejection, and I would die. So when one of the guys came up to me as Lexie, and I walked in and started flirting with me, I couldn't help but flirt right back. I also didn't turn down a drink when he offered to buy one for me. Unfortunately, the guy didn't stay long after buying Lexie and me a drink. Leaving us only seconds before Iron and Snoopy joined us. And just like this morning, I could feel Snoppy's eyes on me. Unlike this morning, Snoopy didn't have a smile on his face at first. It slowly came back, but he didn't seem pleased with the drink that I had, and when the waitress came by, he stopped her ordering all new drinks. And because he ordered a new drink, I did my best not to glare at him too much when he handed my current drink to the waitress and sent it back to the bar. His smile only grew more when he noticed me glaring at him. "You will thank me later, trust me, sweetheart. Besides, Hawk has a crazy old lady, and you don't need that kind of drama in your life." "Crazy enough to be mad he bought someone a drink?" "Crazy enough to be mad he was flirting with you and bought you a drink. Besides, there are way better guys here that would love to flirt endlessly with a beautiful woman like you." Saying this, he winked at me, and I couldn't help but laugh. He was really full of himself. And even though I still didn't like the guy, I was here to have fun, so why not play the game? At least for a night. What could go wrong? I get a few drinks out of the guy. He allows me to sleep in his spare room another night. And I can go about my business and only have to deal with him on the few occasions when Iron and Lexie invite the two of us to something. I think I can handle putting up with him for a short time every now and then. Before I could respond, the waitress returned with our drinks. Snoopy took the one he ordered for me and handed it to me. I accepted and thanked him, taking a sip from it before responding to his last attempt at what I can only guess was a pickup line. "You seem to be the expert on the guys here tonight. According to you, who here is a better guy, a girl should flirt with?"
