11. The Last Drop

1193 Words
I needed to find him, my human. At the moment, my thoughts were only focused on him and him only. Finally, the blood drop's trail ended, and his smell also dissipated at the curb. He must have caught a ride. The other blood odor was gone as well. I knew he and the other human were far gone. If I even saw their car, I could have followed them, but I could not find them now, in this big city. The cold wind was blowing, lifting some garbage off the streets. The weather didn't bother me, but I felt like s**t. I needed some pick me up. So I went back to the front of the club. I was not going in. I just needed some fresh blood to feel better. People were still waiting to get in the club, standing in line. I found the least disgusting looking couple. The guy was all over his girl. Grabbing her, kissing her. She didn’t mind. OK, maybe they were still somewhat unappealing, but my fangs were itching. I would like to have a double snack. I approached them quickly. “Do you want to come with me?” I glanced into the young woman’s eyes and then into the guy’s. “Yes,” he replied. “Where to?” she asked, inappropriately. Then I heard the familiar voice: “Hey.” It was Elaine and Jose. I was happy to see them, but hoped they had not been at Silvia’s event yet. Elaine was wearing a red leather dress that hugged her figure perfectly. I didn’t care about fashion, but when I saw her, I wished I could pull off that look as seamlessly as her. “Are you headed to the club?” I asked them, in some glimmering hope that they hadn’t heard about my situation yet. “Oh no, we are just leaving. We heard what happened and were going to check up on you. Luckily, we have found you!” She was just happy to see me. I appreciated that. I didn’t want her to be sorry for me. I didn’t want to be a laughingstock, either. “So when are we going?” the human girl allowed herself to speak to me. “Wait here,” I commanded her. Humans can be so annoying. “Ready for a drink?” Elaine asked me. I entirely forgot about humans in the line, and we took off. Luckily, Silvia was not the only vampire who owned the bars in the city. We went into the place nearby called “The Last Drop.” At first glance, it was a standard bar that anyone could get in, and it looked ordinary to humans, but inside the regular bar, in the back, next to the bathrooms, there was a staircase that took you one floor down. There was a big metal door guarded by Redrick. “So, are you planning to give someone else's balls treatment too?” He gave me a smirk. F** news has already traveled there. That was too fast for my taste. “You want some?” I rolled my eyes but made a pose just for fun, pretending I was ready to kick him. He laughed and let us in. The place was a bit damp and smelled of stale blood and cocktails. Humans drank their free alcohol and sometimes chatted with one another until one of us grabbed them. I took the first guy that I saw. I pulled him to the bar stool so I could sit while he was standing next to me. His neck aligned perfectly with my mouth and my fangs went into him without an issue. He jerked for a second. He must be new, but I held on to him tight, and he calmed down. No marks were on his virgin neck until I punctured it. While the blood was flowing, I was thinking about the s**t I had done today so far. I took a break and wiped my lips. The guy had opened his big blue eyes and gazed at me like a good puppy, somewhat terrified but also satisfied. Our bite did this to humans. They loved our kiss, well, until someone got killed, which we could cover up pretty well with our abilities. The pleasure they would get from our bite was intensified by the tonic we provided. “More,” he whispered. I saw he even got an erection. I slid my hand close to the bump on his jeans, which he watched, anticipating, but I didn’t touch it. I let him wait. It was fun, in a way. I looked at my friends instead. Elaine and Jose were sharing another guy while taking breaks to make out and also to chat with me. “So what exactly happened at the Silvia’s? Do you want to talk about it?” Elaine asked me. I told her everything, well, except that I knew the human from before and that I wanted him badly now for some reason. I skipped that little detail. “It sucks you are banned, but we need to think about how to get into Silvia’s good graces! Her parties are legendary, not that you care about it, but I want you to hang out with us.” “Yea, it will be alright,” I replied, still pondering on my dilemma, which was not Silvia. “I am sure she will cool off eventually.” My snack was waiting. I took my time, then I grabbed him again, and he let out a moan. My mind was still racing while I was drinking him. I wanted to find my human. Something about him was alluring. But, maybe it was the fact that now I did not know how to find him, and he could not attend the events, so was I, and that meant everything was going to be even more complicated. I didn’t know why I didn’t put an effort to find him before, while now I was burning to get close to him. Was it just because I could not reach him? “Here is something to cheer you up,” Elaine told me on the way out. She showed me her phone. I heard a familiar scream. I watched it again and again, and again. It felt good, so good! Elaine was watching me giggling. “Who recorded me kicking Elon in the n**? There was almost no one in the room when it happened.” “Someone named “GemSuckYouDry” Elaine giggled. “Hmm,” I wondered who it was, but I will treasure that video forever. I said goodbyes to Elaine and Jose, and returned to Redrick. “Hi, can you do me a favor?” “Hmm, it depends on what it is,” he looked me up and down. “And what you are willing to pay for it!?
