Justin and I were at his apartment setting everything up for Ewan. Jenny and Ewan are away home, but she knows all she has to do is call if she needs us or just wants to talk. She needs to know she isn’t alone in such a difficult time for her.
Justin suddenly stops what he is doing and sits on the floor. He sighs loudly and runs his fingers through his hair. I go over to him and sit in front of him.
“Justin, what is wrong?” I ask softly and take his hand in mine.
“Syd, what if I am terrible at this? What if I am not cut out to be a father? And what about us? I know you seem okay, but how are you really feeling?” he whimpers.
I don’t think he has had a second today to process everything.
