“Krystal, your dad told me that the dinner will be today instead of tomorrow.” Ms. G said to me on the phone.
“What?! I did not bring a dress with me.” I replied to Ms. G. Honestly, I don’t get why dad is being like this so suddenly because it is obviously out of the blue. Although it is noon now, the fact that the dinner will happen this evening is really a shock for me. Knowing that dad told me that I had to prepare and dress well, it seemed really important for me to be unprepared.
“I know the driver will bring you clothes when he picks you up to go straight to the restaurant.” Ms. G replied to me.
“I understand. Did dad mention why it changed suddenly?” I asked her.
“No. Your dad just instructed me to say that.” She answered my question.
